It works but it is to bulky for the playstation controller

Used to using an Xbox Elite controller and using the paddles, so this helped me plenty. My only complaint would be, not of this hardware, but the overall PS setup. On Xbox I can disable buttons (specifically R3 and L3) on the controller so that clicking them does not work and then allow them to only work on the paddles. Can't seem to do that for PS4. Otherwise, this is great! Highly recommended!

Does its job well and the interface is intuitive and easy to use. However, it's simply too bulky and somewhat uncomfortable to use. Also, trying to insert it securely into the bottom port of a DualShock 4 can be finnicky and annoying. Also, it resets my PS4's audio input source every time it's removed and reconnected.

I bought this and my son and I have both tried it out. I think it's a great concept and a great alternative to spending $200 on a pro controller. Takes some getting use to. But can definitely help out in certain games. Mostly for me, I was more excited about using it on battle royales. The only reason I don't give it a full 5 stars, is solely on how it takes getting use to. Otherwise it's a great accessory!

Meets expectations exactly. It's easy to connect, sits flush with the controller, the buttons feel fine and programming is fairly straight forward with multiple defaults/profiles. User friendly and a nice addition to any controller. I bought at a discount though, as the MSRP felt a little steep to me. Not sure an addon is worth half the cost of an item itself, but here we are...

Installing it is the hard part. You feel like its going to jack up the audio port on the controller. I have wanted to buy one when they just came out, but no one had them in store. It feels okay in the hand, but it can be in the way and press them on accident. I would really only recommend this product for a racing game to shift gears. For anything else, I personally wouldn't use it for any other games.

I got this mostly to try it out for shifting gears in Gran Turismo on my PS4. It works so well on there. I continued to try it out in other games and it works great with some (Fall Guys, Call of Duty and other shooters) while not really helping in other games (SW BFII, NBA2K20). Overall this was a great purchase and you can easily remap the back buttons to try them out with different combos.

I always wanted to see what advantage back buttons would do to my game play. I can say it makes a big difference. Glad to see Sony brought this out since PS4 never offered any Elite controller like Xbox did. Only negative is that the right back button has broken on the edge of the button because of too much use. Still functions fine but a little disappointed that it only lasted 4 months before breaking.

Really easy to put on control and allows fingers to rest on back buttons

I actually love this little attachment. It's really helped me with my FPS games, and I've definitely improved due to the ease of having certain functions next to my gripping fingertips since I can't play claw. I wound up getting this for my partner, and he definitely appreciates this. Takes a little getting used to, but it's worth it if you're not going to invest in a Scuf controller.

really enjoy using this. i prefer to use this in replace of R3 and L3

I primarily play competitive games on Xbox with the Pro controller, So I definitely had to pick this up for those time that I played on playstation. It was easy to map whatever two buttons I wanted to the back. You can also setup 3 profiles and it's easy to switch between them. Now Sony just needs to make a Pro controller with four back buttons.

This addition to the Dualshock 4 breathes a bit more life into your old controller. As an owner of an Xbox One Elite controller, I yearned for programmable buttons on the DS4. Because, once you learn to aim, shoot, jump and reload without taking your fingers off the sticks, you'll never want to go back! This is a must for any shooter fan on PS4.

I like this product for the ease of adding two back buttons to the dual shock 4 so that I can add functions like jump or crouch to my controls without having to take my thumb off of the right analog stick The ability to re-program the functions without software is a great feature and it is really convenient. The only downside is that it won't be compatible with PS5 games

This thing is pretty cool but you have to get really used to it I game on PC as well and I don't play my PlayStation as much so it feels so weird when I go on my control and have this. But if I played a lot I'm not used to it I think it's very handy and useful especially when playing competitive

I have owned a scuff and also the Astro C-40 and this is as good as the Astro and by far waaaaaaaaayyyy better than the scuf controller works great a bit tough to place on the DualShock 4 but easy once you get used to it very simple to operate and program the buttons you want to use on the paddles. I recommend this over a scuf controller of any kind.

This really helps me when playing games where I have to press multiple games at once, such as Ni No Kuni where I have to handle the left analog and left/right buttons at once, I can just assign left and righ to the bumpers. At the very minimum, you can assign them to L3 and R3 to make them easier to press than pushing in the analogs.

This is a great product if you’re trying to turn your default PS4 controller into a Scuf controller . A bit hard to attach in the beginning but fits right in. Does make the controller feel a bit bulky but is really easy to customize and configure. Doesn’t really drain the battery of the controller from what I experienced . Awesome product and it’s PlayStation certified .

Great to map the preferred buttons on ur PS4 controller to make your game experience easier but I cannot no longer charge my PS4 Power using the charging station ps4 controllers(2Ports) while the attachment its in place. Well it’s a choice you to make- I love the attachment and use usb mucro to charger the controllers
