I was very pleased with this DVD player, I purchased it for my grandchildren and it works great. It has a very sharp picture and the sound is very clear. I feel that the quality of this item is just as good as the more expensive ones are. IT is also nice and compact and that makes it easier for smaller spaces.

I asked a Best Buy clerk for his recommendation for a simple, inexpensive DVD player that would connect to my old CRT television. He recommended this model. It was a good recommendation. It connects with RCA cords to my older TV (no HDMI connectors). You can use it without the remote by pushing the buttons on the unit. We've had it for a about a month without a problem.

Came with needed Some wires and the remote control which was super nice. I’m able to watch YouTube, Netflix, and other streaming apps using it. Not complicated to install or get started. Previously had the same exact one but an older version & when it started acting up I wanted to stick with this one.

I was looking for a basic DVD player for a TV in my winter home that had the ability to use for playing movies and CD's. This unit is slim and compact and very easy to use. I have several blue ray Sony DVD players and purchased this one because of the Sony brand and the price. I highly recommend this DVD player for anyone looking for a plug and play easy to use device.

It is certainly a good buy. It is also very simply designed with no features, no display, no bells or whistles -- it does have a remote. The remote is easy to use, but the buttons on the player are not, you have to really press down on them to get the player to respond. The commands are slow in response, so don't expect a quick stop, start or open-- BUT- there's no skipping or distortions in sound quality. It's a good player for the price. If you are looking for basic, this is the machine for you. I would buy it again.

It has DVD & Blueray & is compatible w/ smart tv which is nice. Had a difficult time figuring out controller to play dvd. The sound was muffled….had to play around w/ controller to eventually figure it out…..very annoying.

This player is an excellent option. Very compact and works great!

Set up took less than five minutes. Remote works fine. Very affordable.

I bought this product on the recommendation of a store associate. I was looking for an inexpensive DVD player that would remember where I had previously stopped the disk and that could read and properly display video that had been recorded at various speeds. This DVD player handled these requirements with ease. To date it meets all of my requirements and seems to be of high quality.

Great price, works well. It would be nice if it had HDMI though.

Very simple unit as one would expect at the price point. I use it to play CDs and works as expected. It is very slow moving between functions which is why I give it only 4 stars.

This DVD player is small, easy to use, and fairly inexpensive. We purchased this for our families Rec Room so that when we have our young nieces and nephews over they can put in a video and relax and enjoy instead of running around the house, like wild men and women and misbehaving.

Easy set up, great quality. My dad is happily watching his movies and loves this.

This product work great Sony make a long lasting DVD player and many other great electronics.Only down falls are no hdmi cord plug and no zoom button on control.Does the job for a good price and they usually last many years to come.

This DVD player is compact, but does everything it needs to! When I saw the price, I wondered about the quality, but was very pleasantly surprised!
