I needed an inexpensive DVD player for a guest room and this perfectly fits the bill. It provides a fine picture and is really simple to set up. For what it is, this is a fine DVD player when you don't need all the bells and whistles.

This simply has the most basic function with three buttons Open/Close, Play, and Power on the DVD player that I was looking for. Comes with a remote control. Very slim design, not bulky at all. I plugged it in and was ready to use. Perfect for what I was looking for.

This DvD player is just what we were looking for watching movies and videos in our kitchen. The player is easy to set up and the remote is great. We are happy with our purchase.

The DVD player is a great quality buy for the price. It’s easy to operate light weight and easily portable. I would recommend this item.

I can’t say how well this will last long term (or top the 18 years I got out of my last one, sadly struck by lightning), but so far it has seemed like a nice little DVD player. I love the tiny size, just what I needed for my bedroom. Menus and remote seem intuitive and standard. No bells and whistles, but that’s what I was looking for. It does what it advertises - play DVDs.

I've only used it once so far and worked perfectly once I got the hang of it. It is very compact size and is simple to operate. The price is very low and I am pleased. Definitely would recommend to anyone unless they want top of the line.

This DVD player is simple to use and simple to hook up to your TV. It's small and compact and blends in with the cable box and TV. It is easy to transport it while on vacation or for business.

This is a very nice little player. It doesn't take up too much space and it play the movies beautifully with great picture. Easy to set up.

I bought this Sony dvd player for 5 bucks more than the cheapest one in the store and was happy to pay it. The product works well and is straight forward on set up and operation. It gives me peace of mind being a Sony, that I won't have to buy another one anytime soon.

I am a teacher and I bought this player for my classroom. It's easy to use and it plays DVD's that I put together on my computer as good as the pre-recorded ones. I took back a Sony that didn't do half as well before I purchased this one.

I bought this model to replace my cd player - not to use for DVDs. I did want a basic model, and it is just that. The sound seems to be quite fine in concert with my speakers and receiver. For that reason , and because I don't want to have to go shopping again, I'll keep using it. Problems: a) No screen to show which track you're on - I didn't check this before, so my error. b) It responds better to the remote than to the buttons on the instrument itself. But, the biggest problem is c) that it seems to need buttons pressed repeatedly before it will even turn on or off, or start to play. So I wouldn't recommend it unless you really wouldn't mind all those issues.

Very simple operation with a very nice controller. Bought this for my grandparents after their VCR/DVD player broke wanted a DVD player that had a well label real size remote this fit the bill.

Was looking for a DVD player to hook into a video transfer dongle to my computer, utilizing RCA. This worked perfectly for playing DVD's I wished to digitize. Lightweight, small format, works great!
