Good price and name brand. The ease of use is very good and the price was very reasonable always get a decent deal from Best Buy.

I would recomend this DVD player for its ease of use,good picture quality,and value. I bought this for my dad who has difficulty with electronic devices, and he seems to operate this with ease.

Handle every function with the remote. Sleek looking and takes up very little space. Remote requires precision touch so not for little kids.

Needed to replace a JVC player I have had for over 8 years. This one fit the bill. Small size, remote, and easy to set up. The audio from this unit is actually better than the JVC unit. Oh, the price was good too.

As someone that prefers DVDs over Blu Ray discs, this is an ideal product. Slim, compact, lightweight design, HDMI outputs, easy to use remote control, and overall quality expected of a brand name like SONY.

I needed to replace the DVD player in my van conversion, and the shelf to put it on was small. This DVD player was the right size to fit. Alas, it is old technology, and does not connect to the TV in any way but the oldest technology. . . . RCA phono jacks only. NO HDMI connections, but it does play the DVDs in my 15 year old van conversion. The size was right to fit the space allotted.

Great DVD player for the price, just realize it’s not HDMI, you can only use AV cables. I am very happy with it for it’s intended purpose with our outdoor TV.

For $40 what do you want? This a is a basic player - no frills - but it will play any recorded discs you have, home or commercial. If you are used to the quality of 4K upload 1080 pixels to a smart TV screen then you will be disappointed in the picture quality but as a basic player its fine. DVDs are being phased out like audio tapes were - everything will be flash drive only or streamed in the not so distant future. Grab this while you can if you have a DVD library.

I liked how easy it was to set up. I also like how compact the DVD player is. I know Sony is a good make.

Easy DVD player set up completed by an 11 year old. Everything needed was included with the player in the box. Good quality item at a reasonable price.

Got this because my husband gets lots of movies from studios that won't play in our blue ray. So we decided to try this out. The player is great in quality as to be expected from Sony. Easy to use and quick install.

The player works really well. It's small, compact size makes it easy to put in a place that already has things on it, or it can be stored easily with out taking up room. It plays all of our children's DVDs; even the ones with scratches.

I love this little DVD player but it's only shortcoming might be that you cannot view the time remaining if you are watching a movie. You can see how much of the movie you've watched, but not the remaining time. Given I have an older TV I needed a device that had the audio / video cables (red, white and yellow), and some of the newer DVD players do not utilize this access, much to my dismay, but so far so good. Lastly, it's an attractive model and requires little space.

I was looking for a DVD player that was easy to use. This works well and is a good price. I actually bought two of them to use throughout my house.

This is a good little unit. It's not the fanciest. It has no display screen on the front of the unit, but who reads those displays anyway? It just does what it's supposed to do. It's simple, unpretentious, and works well.

This is the cheapest DVD player and the most basic one I found. It does not have all the bells and whistles the more expensive players have. I bought it because it was all I could afford. As such, it has already provided me with hours of enjoyment. I have no regrets at all with my purchase.

Bought as a gift. Recipient has used the DVD player several times and is completely satisfied with it. Easy to set up and operate. Great inexpensive DVD player.

good value, slim and small design and does not take up a good amount of space on my tv stand shelving so i still have room for other things.
