Small and compact BUT the remote is very easy to read. Print and images big. Very pleased with it for the price and production. Like that i can play music DVD’s on it. Purchase easy with parking lot pick up.

Perfect size, it was easy to set up and shows great quality.

I first bought this DVD player several years ago. It's easy to operate and was a great price. When I recently purchased a second TV, I immediately bought the same DVD player. It doesn't take up much room and the cost still couldn't be beat!

My mom asked for a smaller DVD player so she could use it in her bedroom for her exercise DVD's. It is the perfect size for her smaller TV stand. Doesn't take up too much room at all and it was an easy set-up for her.

My first DVD player was completely defective and I had to run back to the store to return it but the replacement works fine. The Sony DVD player is a nice size. It isn’t too big or bulky. It is also simple to use. I gave this a three star rating because the eject system is very slow and it seems some of the functions don’t work on the remote. I have only used it with one workout video so perhaps this is the reason for some buttons not working. I also wish the instructions were written out opposed to a diagram and I wish the cable was a little longer.

The SONY DVD player is easy to use and shows a great picture. It’s half the size of my old player. Just had to plug it in and was able to use my original cables.

As my old DVD player went south , I headed to Best Buy for a new one and a laptop as well . The integral part of my decision to shop here at this location is that every associate / sales rep never makes me feel like an idiot as I am not tech savvy and never pressures me into high ticket items . They are knowledgeable , respectful and very helpful as to finding an item that you want to fit my budget . The DVD player is a perfect match for my budget and living arrangement . Easily programmable remote with batteries inclusive in purchase as well . Win - win .

Small size, high compatibility and affordable price.

Not only was this the perfect DVD player. The store personnel made the purchase so easy. I was trying to replace one and the clerk specifically verified the needs I have. I went on her suggestion and bought this one. They had an open box special as well, so I was able to save more money. You never go wrong with Best Buy. Excellent product, excellent value and tremendous service.

I'm amazed that you can actually buy a DVD player for only $34! I was looking for a backup DVD player for my workout DVD's, and I wanted one as cheap as possible. The Sony even came with a handheld remote, unheard of at this price. It has no display, except for a power button. Everything is done onscreen on your TV. It loads really slowly, taking more than 10 seconds. It's also slow to respond to commands. The picture quality is surprisingly sharp and clear. No HDMI outputs. It performs great, and I definitely have no complaints at this price.

I bought this DVD player for my parents because it's simple, easy-to-use and works really well. Was very easy to connect to their TV system. For the price, this is an excellent DVD player and I would highly recommend.

I missed having a working DVD player, separate from my new laptop, hooked up to the TV. The Sony is small, lightweight, was easy to hook-up, and works great. Now, if only all of my favorite DVDs from the collection weren't so scratched that they won't play without skipping!

I bought this DVD player when my other one stopped working. I considered price when purchasing, because I'm on a budget. This DVD player is thin, small and stylish. So it looks great with the rest of my living room. It functions well and I am happy with my purchase.

This is an excellent dvd player for my 88 year old step-dad. It's easy to use, the remote is the only one he needs for for both the TV and DVD player, he's very happy with it. His previous player required an individual remote for each. This is much easier for him to operate. Highly recommend.

This is my second Sony DVD player, I bought the exact same one in Oct of 2014 and it is still working perfectly. Bought this one to replace and older DVD player that stopped working. It doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles, but perfect for watching movies, picture is fantastic on our new HD TV's also purchased at Best Buy several months ago. If you have numerous "non blue-ray" dvd's as I do, this is perfect for viewing them. I was so happy with the one I purchased in 2014, that when we found we needed a new one, we bought the exact same one. AND it was the exact same price ! Perfect for what we needed. I highly recommend this DVD player.
