||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I haven't used it yet as it is not hooked up as yet, but it is good to be able to get a plain DVD player instead of a Blue ray/DVD player combo, because when one side dies the other side does too. It may be going out of fashion, but I like my own DVD's to play when I wish and not paying for streaming. I'm old fashioned-I like to own the CD's, DVD's, Books that I enjoy over and over.

I do, however, wish I would have bought a Blu-Ray player instead, just because they offer superior picture, sound, and connectivity.
