I purchased this Item for my sister who claim she never had a dvd player..go figure.. After she received it, she called me after my nephew set it up, and said the quality of it was amazing. I love Sony products and would recommend this product to family and friends.

I couldn't set up the first one I bought, and returned it. A salesman told me to ignore the instructions and I'd be fine. He was right. I easily set up the 2nd one, and it works perfectly.

Small footprint, 8x10". Easily fits anywhere. Sony DVD player works perfectly right out of the box with the AV cables that come with it. Use the Quick Setup menu, a couple clicks, and you're good to go. Seems well-built. Not a lot of bells and whistles, just a great little basic DVD player. I plan to buy an additional one for the TV in the guest room.

This is a standard, good quality DVD player. We would expect good quality from Sony. Can't say there is anything special about this player EXCEPT the quality of the item when marked against the price paid for it. If you want a DVD player with lots of bells and whistles and are willing to pay for that, this is not the unit for you.

Basic, but it does the job. We don’t watch a lot of DVDs. For additional savings I went with open box, and it’s working fine.

This served as a perfect replacement DVD player for my parents to view their DVD collection. It was compact and fit easily on the shelf. Remote was easy to use.
