I needed to replace my old dvd player which was on its last legs. I went into the store and saw this Sony DVD player on sale and was a basic simple DVD player which was exactly what i needed.

Good as new. The only issue was the package was damaged. The price was right.

Third one I bought, work great and break after about two years. Not a problem because the price is so good that I consider them disposable. I use them at work to play DVDs for the waiting room so they pretty much run all day long. I cant say for sure but I feel they would probably last a lot longer if I didn't play them as much as I do, but for the price I keep coming back for more.

I recently moved across country and my equipment is still in the moving process but was not able to watch anything so I decided to purchase a cheap DVD player for a short time. this unit has been used for a few weeks now and it was an easy set-up, plays DVD well and I have not had any issues to date..
