I bought this DVD player when my other one stopped working. I considered price when purchasing, because I'm on a budget. This DVD player is thin, small and stylish. So it looks great with the rest of my living room. It functions well and I am happy with my purchase.

Nice compact size, sound is great. Great value for the money. Would recommend this to any one who enjoys movies or cd.

This is my second Sony DVD player, I bought the exact same one in Oct of 2014 and it is still working perfectly. Bought this one to replace and older DVD player that stopped working. It doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles, but perfect for watching movies, picture is fantastic on our new HD TV's also purchased at Best Buy several months ago. If you have numerous "non blue-ray" dvd's as I do, this is perfect for viewing them. I was so happy with the one I purchased in 2014, that when we found we needed a new one, we bought the exact same one. AND it was the exact same price ! Perfect for what we needed. I highly recommend this DVD player.

This is an excellent dvd player for my 88 year old step-dad. It's easy to use, the remote is the only one he needs for for both the TV and DVD player, he's very happy with it. His previous player required an individual remote for each. This is much easier for him to operate. Highly recommend.

This basic DVD player has good picture quality and is easy to hook up. It is also small and doesn't take up a lot of space which is a big plus. It is reasonably priced as well. Very happy with this item.

I like the brand and the price for the options we were looking for. It pairs up nicely with a smart tv. The remote even works to turn the tv off when you power down the DVD player. I wish it had a digital display though.

This is a well priced item. I have a family member with no desire to stream or have satellite service. Just wants to play their DVDs. This was so easy to hook up to their tv, and easy to set up. It’s technology-challenged-person-friendly!

Quality product, already have one bought few years ago and it is still working fine, needed one for another room. Still same high quality. I like that it is just what I wanted without lots of bells and whistles that I don't understand, 85 years old. Like it simple and straight forward. Don't hesitate to buy this one, great price and another BESTBUY, Always dependable, no hastles, if you have a problem just call them, very knowledgeable staff. Purchased this DVD Player for my kids game room. They have an older tv model that doesn’t really let them watch what they want. Pretty good quality and easy set up. Only down fall is that when you play a movie it starts from when you left off. It never goes back to the menu so you have to keep rewinding or going back to restart what you watch. If your kids are like mine they watch the same things over and over again and it’s a hassle having to rewind the movie each time

Needed a basic DVD player at the right price point and this little black Sony, did not disappoint. Picture quality is great, ease of setup is a plus right out of the box. I simply used the RCA video cable and was in business watching my favorite DVD collections. This little DVD is just what I was looking for.

Not only was this the perfect DVD player. The store personnel made the purchase so easy. I was trying to replace one and the clerk specifically verified the needs I have. I went on her suggestion and bought this one. They had an open box special as well, so I was able to save more money. You never go wrong with Best Buy. Works great, inexpensive, and easy to use. This was bought for my classroom as my last dvd player died after 15 years.

I previously owned this Sony DVD player. (I loved it so much I gave it to an elderly friend) And I love the simplicity in installing and usage of it. The 1080p upgrade enhances the quality of the movies and TV shows no matter how old mines were. Even the cost of this device is Great. If you’re looking for a good buy for a DVD player, this is right up you’re alley! And Best Buy is the place the best place to buy it!

I bought it to use at my job. The employees really like the small compact design and the menu is easy to work with. They also said that it gives excellent picture quality and performs great.

This model is simple to set up and use, because there's no internet connectivity. Great video and audio, low price and it delivers the Sony quality you'd expect.

Wanted a DVD player at a fair price. Easy to connect. Like the user-friendly remote control. A/V cable and manual included. Can play multiple formats as well but have not tried this yet. Would buy again.
