Simple old school player

All inputs & outputs are RCA jacks. Perfect for what I wanted, I'm using it exclusively for CDs in my back porch system. Easy to use and sounds great. Only 33 dollars!

The picture and sound is clear enough to keep them interested. I have had no problems or issues with this DVD player.

TV-dependent CD player

It does that, with good sound, but for fast forward, slow or fast reverse, and minute or counting display, you have to play it thru a tv, which I don't want to do. Also I was surprised to find it doesn't have an HDMI output. I did not try a DVD in it as I already have a good Blu-Ray DVD player.

Menu is a bit of a challenge to get used to with multi-language and icons. Accidentally set it to French and was difficult to get back to English.
