Sony DVD Player - good inexpensive choice.

The DVD player is a little slower in starting, but once it does, it works flawlessly. By "slow in starting," I mean that when you push "Play" there is a delay of several seconds before the music starts. Don't know why,.

Great DVD player for a low tech grandma

This player is perfect as it is easy to use and reliable. It also syncs with her existing cable company remote. Would give it 5 stars, but it is only a DVDs player.

Easy set up (even for them). When you shut of the player off with a disk in it, the player asks if you want to start up where you left off when you turn it back on. Nice feature.
