I bought this for my daughter and she likes it. It fits nicely on her small tv stand. It's a good price and plays DVD's.

Basic DVD player. $40. Reliable. Easy to hook up. I'm in my 60s. Don't own a smart TV. Plays well. Nice NEXT feature to advance and skip previews. Need to use the remote to open and close. Button on top too small. Content with purchase.

Works well. I have had good experience with Sony products in the past. Probably would have given it five stars, except the instructions were vague in the critical area of cable connections. A couple of options, illustrations were poor, and the instructions were not clear. Worked well after initial confusion.

This is a great dvd player for the price. It is also very compact. I didn't notice that it didn't have HDMI capability which was a little bit of a bummer but not a big deal.
