Really, the only reason I didn't give 5 stars is question of durability, which can only be known later. Unit works fine, can't beat value.

I bought this DVD player as I have had one just like it and wanted to be ready to replace the same one I have when it is time. I can tell you that I have had nothing but good luck with the one I have and that is the reason I want to replace the one I have when it is time.

great, compact little machine. Great price value. Exactly what I was looking for.

It shows a good picture but the most disappointing problem is that it doesn't have HDMI cable connection but it is the old RCA jacks. I waited too long to unbox before I found this issue. Buy the next model up for the connection that works on newer TVs.

I had a Sony DVD that lasted me well over a decade...then it finally gave up the ghost. What is strange is that I was a Blu Ray player that for some reasons won't play some of my regular DVDs. So I was thrilled to be able to find a standard DVD player and so far it's worked like a dream.
