Needed to send a new DVD player to relative in nursing home out of state. Perfect size for mailing, easy for him to use, not expensive.

Reasonably priced, compact and does what it should. Got it for my young son for his room because we pretty much buy any the movies he loves long term at flea markets and thrift shops for $1, instead of streaming them for four bucks a pop, so we have a lot of DVDs. We don’t need it to do much beyond play movies and the price was right.

I purchased this product for my mom since she was discharged from the hospital. She is not a fan of streaming services. She very old fashion. Bought this a couple weeks ago to replace a previous old high-end Sony DVD player which suddenly stopped working. This one has fewer features than the previous one and no display, but it does what it needs to do, which is hook up with an old Sony Trinitron TV and play DVDs. That means composite red, white, yellow RCA cables. So far it has played the DVDs fine, but it is still in testing phase. Concerned about the very light weight, and wonder how it will stand up over time.

Easy set up and easy to use. Great price for a beyond quality product. Great for those that want a simple DVD player to use.

I was looking to replace my Sylvania dvd player, and the open box of the Sony was perfect. The description said it was a blu-ray/dvd player, but it is just a dvd player. But that's fine. It is compact enough to fit in the small space that the previous one was, and easy connection.

This DVD may be small and compact but it does a lot. My favorite feature is that the player will remember where you left off which saves time. You can even have it start at the beginning. It doesn't have a counter but you really don't need it. The DVD player was at a great cost and I'm very happy with my purchase.
