It plays fine once you get it there though. It doesn't have hdmi but we didn't expect it to. We bought them as cheap DVD players for our kids' rooms and they work decently for them. I can't get it to make the picture fit their TV size though.

We purchased a different name brand and he rejected it and had a meltdown. Glad your stor still had them although i had to travel to a different city to get the same day.
