Apparently old school CD players are no longer manufactured. So this works just fine for an outdoor system.

This one is perfect for us. The only problem we have had with it is it seems to be hard sometimes to get it to open to place the DVD in it.

This one still had the red-yellow-white connecters which feed into a converter box for the coax connections
