    the product is okay for the price and nothing to complain about with the exception of remote a slow poke when you're trying to open or change a dvd to scan. Anyway, for the price and you're in a budget its just a basic dvd player as marketed. Perhaps, I might upgrade for a blueray and faster remote system when my $$ permits.

    It plays nicely, but... I can't get color or closed captions. The salesman said it would connect with a HDMI cable, but it doesn't, I am thinking about getting a better one.

    Terrible purchase. When I plugged it in and installed a dvd into it, it made a loud knocking noise. I will be returning this product. Its shipping package was insufficient as well. It was put in a large box without packing around it. Can get easily damaged.
