I bought this as a gift only to find out it was not needed so I returned it. The box was not even opened so I have no idea how well it works.

No HDMI OUTPUT Port…But i got a Great Price on an Open Box Special..

Did not work for DVD-R Home video CD's... if anyone knows of any DVD player that can play Memorex DVD-R Players for home videos, please let me know :)

Get what you pay for. 50/50 whether the DVD plays the first time you load it. After reloading the same DVD a second or third time, you can normally get it to play

I wanted to get a DVD player that had some good features, but didn't cost a lot. This DVD player is a good option, but it is slow to respond to start up and changing discs. Small inconvenience overall.

I purchased this DVD player as a replacement in my mancave. It works great, with no problems whatsoever. Would definitely purchase again if needed.

It does not have the universal HDMI cable capability.

my remote is not working, it needs replaced so i can watch movies.

This was a yellow tag item and according to price tag was the floor model. My only problem is it will not play or skip motives if there are scratches or finger prints on disc. Must keep lens clean and disc at all times.

Does not have the HDMI Socket for cable conection to display

I have tried to connect this to my smart Roku tv and it just won't work. I can turn it on but that's it, no on screen directions appear. It doesn't have an HDMI or USB connection and I think that's what I need. The regular cable connection does nothing.

Wish it had HDMI cabling but not bad for the price

I purchased a Sony DVD player at a Best Buy store on the south side of Milwaukee. I set it up and it didn’t work. The platform where you load the DVD would not come out and the instructions were missing. I found out that it was a unit that had been returned to the store and the box was simply taped shut and placed on the shelf for someone else (me) to buy. I went to a second Best Buy store and found three units of the same model. I purchased one, set it up and it worked perfectly. In addition, when I purchased the new unit, only one cashier was available. The cashier was helping a customer who was very confused about what he was trying to purchase. I waited approximately fifteen minutes for the cashier to get rid of this guy.

After trouble with other DVD players I got a Sony, knowing it would work right. I am not disappointed. Easy to use and straightforward product.

This player is old fashioned, I know. It was hard to set up and my husband can not figure out how to run it. It is probably our fault.

Works as it should. Yes, I would recommend this DVD Player.

I haven't used this player much at this point, but so far, so good. Hook-up was simple, and operation is easy. No complaints. Easy is good!
