The picture size has to be adjusted with some DVD's. There is no automatic adjustment for full screen viewing. This is an annoying feature.

This has the basic functionality in that it has basic working function. The problem is it is extremely slow to respond to functional action.

This player has all the features of the one it's replacing, except for HDMI and S-video jacks, which I didn't need. The zoom function is a little less convenient to use, because there is no button on the remote to do it directly. You have to go through a couple of menus to get to it. A nice feature, is the ability to watch a DVD at faster than normal speed. You still get the sound, but it only take a little under 90 minutes to watch a 120 minute movie. I use it when re-watching a movie with the director's commentary.

The buttons are not arranged in what I consider a logical order. Remote is very small making it difficult for older people to use (I bought for an elderly person),the buttons are too close together.

Plugged it in easily enough but it is playing black & white. I tried a few DVDs and they all played this way. I guess a good deal is too good to be true.

Great deal, unfortunately I did not realize it was only a DVD, was needing Blue-Ray, customer service was exceptional as usual!!

Bought this for a vacation home and it works perfectly for our needs. Like the Sony brand and it was a good price when I bought it.

No way to hook it up to a new TV. No HDMI connections. Took too long to try to hook it up, so cannot return it. Total waste of money.

I didn’t notice that this DVD player doesn’t have a remote. It works just fine, however not having a remote is a major downside for me.

Purchased for my elderly mother to play SD DVDs. Good budget priced product.

Needed a basic DVD as my TV doesn't accommodate the latest technology. The last one (identical) broke down after 1 year so I had to replace. I guess for $34 "You Get What You Play For"

This DVD has not yet arrived so it's hard to rate it! It was supposedly mailed to Petersburg from Anchorage on 6/12 but, according to the tracking number info, the PO apparently has not even received it to ship out to me. Hope you can help solve this mystery. I am a little surprised, since other orders from Best Buy have come so promptly.

It's a good product for a no frills DVD player. I just needed something for the bedroom TV. I don't need the bells and whistles and I didn't want to spend a lot. This fit that perfectly.

This is not an easy hook up. It is not connect to our tv and be in color- only black and white. I went back to BB and the gentleman told me to try something else. I then had the color green. The directions that came with it are pretty useless. I bought an additional cable. No luck.

This is an inexpensive player but it does do all it needs to do to watch DVD's. I use it in my workshop to watch informational/educational stuff and so far have no complaints.

Just not a particularly pleasant or helpful experience or product, but ...it was ok though
