Overall it is a serviceable and good dvd player. A couple of things I do not like is that it slow reaction to commands and loading process. I like Sony products because of the quality and durability. I would recommend this for the price for a kids room.

Poor quality. No sound. Picture quality terrible. Directions don't match parts enclosed. I regret I didn't open within the return window, cause no I can't return. This model is so cheap, the picture quality so poor that I am shocked Best Buy even sells it. Also, it doesn't have an HDMI input, so if you thought you were going to pull your old DVR out and hook this one up, you aren't. You will have a cord and jacks that don't match the picture in the instructions and ZERO information on what to hook up where. I finally found a combination and I've got video, but no sound. Just e-waste at this point.

Bought to replace an older Sony dvd player that works off and on. I did like the one I was replacing, it's just gotten old and acts like it lol. I still like the ease of set up and the basic neat look. The only complaint I have is that it doesn't have the digital timing displayed on the player to show the length of the movie or the chapters, etc.

The quality of the video is excellent. A good buy at a low price. It has a low profile so fits nicely om a small table.

Player was perfect. Small, compact, and easy to install. Bought it for our cabin that has no T.V. After a 3 min set up, we were watching shows again. The price was also great. Thank you Best Buy, and Sony.

This was an inexpensive way to upgrade from a very old DVD player that didn't have a working remote anymore. Added bonus is that I can play CDs too. It's not as sturdy as my old machine, but I guess that's to be expected.

A great old fashioned DVD player, which helped my dad watch his old DVDs after his previous player broke down.

We bought this for our children and camper. Small and compact to fit in a lot of places. Good quality and nice and quiet.
