Happy, but a little bothered

I understand that your DVP-SR210P is having issues turning off when not playing a disc. Please try turning off the DVD player, unplug it for about 30 seconds, and then plug it back in and turn it on again.

Very clear picture, and great sound quality. I would definitely recommend this model to anyone looking for a DVD player that will allow then to watch movies without a doubt not only in the wallst, but also for movie nights!

Plays the dvds well, picture and sound quality are good also.

I have occasional difficulty getting the play function to work after closing the DVD tray (don't get any messages that the player is loading)--which I figured out works more consistently if I press "play" with the tray still open. Then I more readily get the notice the disc is loading by which I can watch my stuff.

Yes, I know. Bottom line, it works fine for what it is, and is relatively well made. It's too cheap to pick nits. If you need a simple DVD player and no streaming or Blu-Ray, this is a great choice.
