The DVD player is a little slower in starting, but once it does, it works flawlessly. By "slow in starting," I mean that when you push "Play" there is a delay of several seconds before the music starts. Don't know why,.

Good simple DVD player

It was purchased for my granddaughter to replace a worn out one. It does everything she requires of it and I couldn't be happier.

However, there is no display on the unit itself, which makes is less ideal for CDs. But for $35 it works great and was just what I needed.
