excellent basic dvd player

Great little DVD player

I'm using it on an old standard def tv thats used in a seldom used room and it worked perfectly. When I replace this tv with an HD flat screen I'm confident it will perform as rated.

Nice dvd player

My only complaint is that I wish it had a visible display on the front panel instead of the top to tell you if it is on or off.

Sleek and light-weight compared to our old one that we are replacing. We trust the Sony brand, as our old one still works, but we wanted to upgrade to the HD Upconversion model. We actually paid more for our older model.

I have had it over a month, and it is working well. The only thing that could be better is the very small light on top of the DVD player that comes on when the DVD player is turned on. A more noticeable light at the top for when the DVD player is on would be an improvement.
