Now she can enjoy DVDs from the library that she can't find on Netflix! Discs load quickly and the remote is straightforward. Minimal learning curve. Small profile allowed unit to fit right under TV.

I like Sony products because it's a company that delivers. It was very easy to set up and use from the onset.

However, it responds to remote commands very slowly, and the indicator lights are very dim. Further, I've yet to find a way to reset the DVD to the beginning (the Menu command doesn't do it), and the player can hang up indefinitely on a particular disk, trying to get to the last-viewed moment.

If you are looking for a DVD player to rewatch your classics, this is great quality for the price point. The only thing I wish is that is came with an HDMI cord since it does have an output for that,. Instead it only comes with A/V

I have used it a few times and have had no problems, even it being open-box. It is small enough too that it fits in my storage cube organizer that my TV sits on top of. I would recommend!
