perfect high resolution & long tele lens for APS-C

With its ability to AF fast, this is an ideal lens for outdoor shooting. I used this for sport events but it also take beautiful portrait pictures with nice bokhe of background. the weight and diameter are both perfect for handled shooting and moving around in the field. Excellent built quality as well. I was considering SEL70300G but after tested both, I decided with SEL70350G. Only drawback is the large F stop (F6.3) at the long tele side, especially in sports pictures with a high shutter speed.

Quite a lens but I can't believe I spent this much

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm very much an amateur; I don't think I can really utilize a quarter of the capabilities of the Sony a6400 camera I purchased from Best Buy. But this lens, with it's Optical Steady Shot, is rather incredible. When shooting handheld at maximum zoom you can't see any shake. And you end up with beautiful pictures that with the 26 megapixels in the camera you can crop them and zoom in even more. If money were no object I'd give it five stars but obviously that's not the case. And remember, this is a fairly big and heavy lens for an amateur to handle on the little Sony camera bodies. You might want to try it out a bit before springing for this lens. But for me, I like to get in tight and zoom in so I'll put up with that.

The Telephoto Lens to get for APSC

A great lens that's a bit pricey.

It's very sharp to almost full zoom and lightweight considering how far out it reaches. The brightness is pretty standard for an entry level zoom. The only thing that's not is the price. Compared to comparable zooms from Nikon and Canon this is quite a bit more expensive. I guess that's the price you pay.

A good quality Sony E-mount lens

This is a quality Sony E-Mount lens that I use to pair with my A6600 camera. It is easy to fit into my compact camera bag and the picture quality is good. Very Sharp

The image quality was instantly noticeable. Also for such a reach the lens has an agreeable compactness. That tight design is great for me because I use public transportation to get around.
