The specifications says so, but it actually doesn't have it. Only the button to skip song, go to previous, rewind or forward, etc. There seemed to be some incompatibility with my iphone 6. If the jack was moved slightly, there would be mic problems, or it would also play/pause music. Would not recommend.

Also the included rubber ear bud replacements make it easy to find the right size that I could wear for hours without them becoming uncomfortable. The only downside is there isn't any volume adjustments on the wire.

Even when the music is not on, these help muffle outside noise. The only issue I had with these which may or may not be an issue with my smartphone (note 2) is that they cause music to start and stop randomly.I dont remember this happening with another pair of sony headphones.

Great standard in-ear headphones

The sound quality beats anything cheaper that does not fit in-ear. The only drawback which is easily fixable is that the headphones open Siri and/or Voice Control while listening to music on an iphone/ipod. The fix is to use any tape to cover over the metal ring at the end of the jack furthest from the tip. In other words, the Apple headphones do not have this ring which is why they do not initiate Siri/Voice Control unintentionally. Once I figured this out--thanks online user-based forums--all was well.

Con: one side just quit working after about 4 months of infrequent use. Cord tangles a bit. Microphone behaved inconsistently. Switch on cord only for pause/play, not volume control (on iPhone). Bottom line: Sony shouldn't put their name on something so cheap.
