G Master quality

To me, this is the perfect size making it not too big and bulky which is reliably compact for travel. The focal length is just right when it comes to street, architecture, and landscape photography. The maximum aperture of 1.8 will also make it great for astrophotographers as well, which I’m excited to use this lens for. The focusing reaction speed is surprisingly quick from one subject to another. In my opinion I feel like this lens would highly compete with the G-master series lenses, especially with the G-master 24mm 1.4 lens. So many other features could be mentioned however I’m still getting to know the lens and see what this lens has to fully offer. An amazing lens for an amazing price.

Sharp even at its widest aperture, very little distortion that can often come with wide-angle lenses, great bokeh, very light, and surprisingly good for certain portraits. I would've happily paid $1600 for a lens like this.

Great little Prime lens

Decided I wanted a wider frame. This thing knocks it out of the park. Great choice for light travel lens if you are looking for a Prime

Lightweight quality

Well crafted quality lens.

Very little or easily mitigated distortion on the outside edges. A bit on the heavy side for a prime lens but build quality makes up for it.

It’s fast. Sharp. And light. I owned a few 16-35mm lenses and this is the perfect combo while being a nice prime. Its excellent. You won’t regret the purchase.

I struggled for a while between getting this and the 24mm GM, but so far I feel like I made the right call.

20mm G or 24mm G Master

After watching countless YouTube videos, I decided the extra 4 mm was more important than the 1.4 aperture. The price also helped with this. The lens feels solid and well made. I had another 20mm with f2.8 and it just wasn’t letting enough light in do get the Milky Way acceptable for my taste. I’m really happy with the results and purchase. I’d love to show you some results but the Best Buy app isn’t letting me upload my pictures, maybe the files are too large. I shoot with A7iii come on Best Buy, I’m not reducing the quality on pictures when that’s part of the selling point.

Perfect for Low Light

It came in handy - worked great! I love it because the lens is not very heavy either, so really easy to carry around.

Where I had issues was for video content creation - there was alot of focus breathing - I had it mounted on a Sony A7C full-frame camera about 3 feet from me. Another good thing about this lens that shouldn't be overlooked - the fact that it uses standard mount filters (unlike the 14mm)

Gets the job done

Fast, sharp little lens
