Good lens wide range...a little large and expensive

Good lense but pricey.............................

It's a great beginner's lens. The trouble is that the one that you do want is the 24-240 F/2.8 however that lens is about 2.5 times the price. This was affordable at $1000-ish. Worth the price, but you will find that you wished you had the other lens. But if you have a Sony and only $1000 this is the right lens.

I am content with it and I have not had any problems with it so far.

Its an ok lens, heavy, somewhat cheap, but I bought it with the A7Rii and felt it just wasnt very sharp. I put one of my kit A6500 lenses on the camera and it became crystal clear.

I love this lens. No other manufacturer offers a lens for a full frame camera that covers this much range. This is a 10x zoom, which makes it the only lens you need for pretty much anything.

This lens has a large range and very little distortion.

I did a lot of research before buying this lens and it does not disappoint. I use it primarily for sports events and the pictures are amazing. Quick and easy zoom with just as fast auto focus. I love this lens and my Sony camera!

I have enjoyed using this lens for shooting landscapes and portraits. I'm no professional at all and I don't know the intricacies of photography. I think that most amateur photographers would be happy with this lens.

If you are an amateur and the new full frame lenses scare you for their price, then this one will fill the bill. For we amateurs who are not wealthy, the full frame camera was a stretch for us. So a bag full of lenses simply will not happen. This will serve your needs very well.

Great range on this zoom. 24-240mm is pretty rare in a lens and could replace an entire collection of lenses. It's pretty small for what it does too. The casual photographer would do well to grab this lens (and maybe only this lens). But, for the pro/semi pro, you may be a little disappointed with the sharpness. It isn't terrible by any means but surely more high end options in the Sony lineup will outperform the 24-240.

Used the camera in yellowstone, glacier park, Mount Rushmore and crazy horse memorial. Camera allowed great shots of scenery and allowed quick shots of lots of wildlife.

Got this as my first lenses to go with my Sony a7 s ii. I was looking for a lenses that suited my travel needs. I as well record a lot of sporting games. The associate steered me in the direction of this lenses and I must say I am enjoy every second of it.

This was a nice lens for my Sony a6000, but I did not get enough extra zoom. I have the 70-210, and will wait until I can get the 300 mm instead.

The lens was great! But then when I started shooting out in the field, I did not find myself reaching for this lens at all. I do life style and portrait photography.

This is best for all around lens. You have wide to tele plus stabilization. The color it produce is superb. There are some vignetting but it can be corrected.

This is a great lens for my new camera, although it doesn't always sync up correctly and I receive an error message. Not sure if it needs to go in for repairs already?

I bought this for my A7II and it became my everyday lens. No matter where I go or what I'm doing I take this lens with me. It's a great all around mid-priced lens.
