This lense is a must for anyone with a Sony Alpha camera. I used it with my A7iii and produced some stunning images. It's very lightweight which makes it a great travel lense. Highly recommended.

This lens performs better than I expected! It gives just enough of a wide angle for landscapes but also can be used for group photos . The price is amazing! Love it!

Distortion and chromatic aberration easily fixed in Lightroom , very nice FE Sony lens, also one of the sharpest lenses I used , not that expensive wide 28 and fast F2, good combo for landscaping especially

In my shooting I use a 35mm 1.4 prime 90% of the time. However, I've always felt a little wider might be nice. This lens gives me just that. It's reasonably sharp, compact, good build quality. Highly recommend.

I have about 50 lenses right now. Vintage SLR up to Canon L lenses. This lens is my 2nd sharpest lens only next to the Sony 85mm f/1.8. Auto focus is fast and accurate. The lens is compact and feels well built. I do not plan to shoot in the rain so weather sealing is of little concern to me. This lens on my Sony A7III surpasses the sharpness, image quality and AF over Canon 5Dmk III and my L lenses. 1 negative is that I found it to have some CA in certain high contrast situations. ie...Chrome over black. For the VERY reasonable price, I would say this lens suits hobby folks and pros alike. A great travel lens and a top performer for video work!

Good sharpness on this prime lens. Bought it for whenever I need a wide angle, since I mostly shoot portraits and have that covered. Got it open-box for $300 so I cannot complain at all. Great deal!

Absolute no brained in this lens. Sharp, cheap and small. May not be build with weather sealing and all that jazz, but it gets the job done at it's price point. Highly sought after lens by many.

Sharp, small, fast. I purchased this lens for my Sony A6000 to replace the kit lens. The 28m f2 has been my everyday lens. Used mainly for around town and road trips.

Amazingly sharp and fast lens for my Sony A7SII Full frame camera. Nice wide angle without the distortion found in wider angle lenses. Works beautifully in low light.

Was looking for wide lens and this lens fit the bill. Super sharp performer and the bokeh it produces wide open at f2 is pleasing. Used for indoor events/weddings. Gave it a 4 star rating because it really wish this was a f1.8 lens.

Bought this because I wanted a wider prime for the A6000. The crop factor brings this 42mm so it's slightly wider than normal 50mm to give a bit more room to shoot. Also bought this lens so when I upgrade to full frame this lens will be great as true wide angle lens. It is small, light & sharp and find myself using this as my go to lens for everyday photos.

I bought the A7Sii body and was looking for a lens that would do a great "overall" job. This is it! Was recommended this lens by a friend and after trying it out, decided this was a great alternative to a zoom lens. I didn't want to get a prime lens at first (because of the lack of zoom) but it's wonderful and the glass is superb. Told my other friend about this lens and she ran out and bought one, too!

Very happy with this lens for my A6500. Sharp, small and reasonably priced.
