Picked this up for my A6000 as my daily carry lens and the image quality blew me away for the price of this thing.
Beware of CA - but it's $450
Beware of Distortion - but it's $450
Both of these issues can be fixed in post so it's not a big deal for the money.
Think of this as the poor man's version of the legendary Zeiss 24/1.8 for APS-C A6000/A6300.

Great lens for the money specially if you can find a return model that is discounted. Compact and perfect for the A6000 Sony models.

Perfect lens for my needs. Small enough to keep the mirrorless still feeling small, excellent clarity, and great for photographing beautiful hawaiian landscapes on the fly or taking pictures with friends and family. I'm no pro and there are certainly better lenses out there but for the price point, this is perfect for my needs.

I purchased this lens instead of a 50mm 1.8 because when used with a crop sensor this lens becomes a 50mm, which I think is the best for street photography. This lens also works really well with video. If you want a fish eye or even wider angle you can purchase additional add-on lenses to increase your functionality. Wish it came with a lens case like SIGMA lenses do considering what you are paying for it. All I got was just the lens covers, not even a drawstring bag like some of their other lenses offer.

Wanted a lens I could use in a variety of situations without having to carry multiple ones around. This seems to meet the criteria and not break the bank. Good value and the light weight was a plus. I could solely use this lens all day on a trip to Disneyland, take pics indoor and out and not have the bulk with me. Amazed at how great the photos came out too.

This is the first lens i bought with the A7III. I got primarily for use with video because the auto focus and the wide aperture goes well with the camera. I see little distortion with this lens.
Good small useful lens if you like wide angles.

Got this lense, for some photos that need a wider angle, such as landscape and street. It works fine, and it can take some good photos. I chose this over the 35MM and regret not choosing the 35MM. I selected this one because it was cheaper. Descent lens, but I wouldn't buy it again.

I have mixed feelings about this lens. The main things I don't like about this lens are sharpness (especially along the edges) and build quality. I got sharper shots with the kit lens SEL2870 using similar settings and in the same place. The plus for this lens is the f/2.0, which comes handy for low light shooting. Another big plus is the relatively low price for this lens.

Wonderful little lens that works great with the Sony mirrorless systems. Fast aperture and fast focusing. You can purchase more add ons in order to make it become 21mm or 16mm fish eye. Works great on my a6300 and a7s2. Perfect for those who want to use on apsc sensors and plan to upgrade to FF.

this is great value for money, but keep in mind that this does not come with OSS, so on APS-C cameras without IBIS this will not be stabilized

This is such a great value video lens. As a prime, it's lightweight and thus perfect for any mirrorless E Mount Sony mounted on a gimbal. Distortion is low (for video) and film has that rich, high quality DSLR look.
