Wonderful macro lens for Sony Full Frame. Build quality is superb!

This lens is extremely sharp. I prefer to use a tripod, but it can be handheld for longer shots. Even a monopod would be a big help when trying to zero in on a little flower or bug. I've used it on the A7Rii and A6300. Auto focus is sometimes goofy, but the manual focus is excellent.

First time macro shooter using the A7ii. This lens makes you want to use it more and more. Great as portrait and everyday lens. Very sharp with excellent IQ. Build quality is top notch. Only negative thing to say is that it is fairly large and heavy, but its something to look past.

The focus is fast and the image is sharp. It’s great for macro photography!

Great lens for your Sony camera. A bit expensive but if you can afford it go for it.

The Sony FE 90mm f/2.8 Macro G OSS is literally the sharpest lens available on the market for Sony cameras. Nothing beats it or even comes close. If you are considering 90mm lenses from other manufacturers, stop. This is the one.

since switching over from canon to sony, i've been skeptic about how well the macro lens works with sony. and it delivered very happy with the purchase. learning about how different mode and switching to manual/auto focus mode was tricky. but well worth the purchase

Near perfect. It's wonderful as a macro lens with a focus ring that is a delight to use. Equally good for portraits or 90mm landscape shots. This lens is a great value with superb sharpness and minimal fringing.

Really does it's job being a macro lens, since I take photos of jewelry which needs a focusing on small subjects.

This 90mm gem is a beautiful and sharp lens. There aren't really any options that are native Sony save for this and the much cheapter 50mm. But this is definitely the macro lens you want if you'd like to be a serious macro photographer. It's well built, is loaded with features, and most importantly has stunning image quality.

Hands down a must have in the Sony line. the capabilities of this lens are beyond anything I've used. I was a bit concerned it was solely a macro lens but it makes an amazing portrait lens as well. Def a must have in your bag.

This is the better of the two FE macro lenses Sony makes in the FE mount. It's a G lens as well so it's a high quality lens. The 90mm focal length gives you room to work and it silently focuses down to one to one. The sharpness is very apparent on my A7r M2 large sensor.

Sharpness for the lenses is the criteria I look for and these lenses are in the second place in Dxomark lab testing. I have 35mm 1.4, 55.mm 1.8 Zeiss lenses and these lenses take better picture.

Great Macro lens. Not as good as my GMAster 85. For a mixed Macro and Portrait lens, it is the best choice.
