Bought this camera simply to make YouTube videos,,coming from iPhone pro max 14 & Sony a7c is insane. This camera having 4,000 price tag is justified. great investment. The low light on this camera unreal. It’s been a month since I purchased. The menu is very simple to use for beginners . No regrets !

Worth every penny. Bought it open box and saved $600 with no issues to report. Cooling is incredible and the 4k 120 S-Log looks awesome. Most affordable cinema camera out there. Perfect for making a movie without breaking the bank

I love this camera. The small form factor is great. I dont miss the EVF. The top handle works well (get a extender for it though). And there are no compromises in video. If you're looking to do photos look at something like the A7IV or A7RIV. If you want an EVF look at the A7SIII. But for me I just use this strictly for video and it's excellent for that.

This has exceeded my expectation especially in low light situations. A great film camera for beginner to advanced filmmakers! Paired with the right lenses the quality of your footage will amaze you! Highly recommended!

At first thought, I was thinking what did I get myself into? So many menus and buttons, I’m in over my head! Several months later and more comfortable with this camera and I’m just amazed by the low light capability. I’ve wanted to get into video but didn’t want to deal with over heating problems so i went with this beast which has a built in fan. I love the focus transition from the touch of the screen, which you can change the speed of. No view finder really had me concerned about keeping sharpness on objects, not a problem. I still don’t know everything about it but no buyer’s remorse.

The FX3 packs a big punch. Out of cam footage is 10/10. The remote capabilities make on-set workflow easy. Great glass + great filtration on this sensor will give you a high quality image.

This camera is amazing, but just a part of a system. The best memory cards are $200 for 80gb, or you can buy a $600 Ninja V and an SSD or two. Just like a film camera it has to be 'built' to take advantage of everything it has to offer.

Picture is fantastic. I use it for YouTube and video podcasting. It’s overkill and I probably should have gone with the fx30 but if I did that I’d probably still want to upgrade to the fx3 at some point. If you’re not bothered by the price, go for it. Plugging the podcast mic directly into the camera via xlr has simplified my setup and is so easy to use. I no longer need an interface to connect everything. I guess if you’re an audiophile and still want that level of granular control, you could still do that. I personally don’t have that level of technical knowledge in audio so I wanted to just plug and play, which this camera with the xlr handle lets me do. Professional audio I get without any extra effort is a huge win

Absolutely outstanding camera for professionals looking to up their game. I've been working with a Canon 70D for the last ten years and the improvement is insane. The dual ISO is perfect for low light shooting without having to compromise with heavy amounts of grain. The dual card slots are great for longer shoots and the built in fan is a game changer for longer takes so the camera doesn't overheat. Overall this is the best camera I could have asked for when it comes to professional videography. If you're looking for a camera that will last you for the next ten years, look no further.

As an indie filmmaker, this camera is by far the best I’ve ever had. With that being said, it’s still a bit of a stretch to call it a full fledged cinema camera. There’s a few key things that are missing that would make this a true beast, like internal ND and global shutter… but the image it produces basically makes up for it. If you know what you’re doing you can get incredible results with this bad boy, and is 100% worth trying out!

Ive been fortunate to have used Sony for a few years now, and i love the sharpness and quality of their images. The FX3 is a versatile camera that gives so much in a little build. If youre on the fence, get it.

If this had built-in NDs it would be the perfect camera. But make sure you realize you'll need high speed CF Express cards which can be $$$. Fantastic camera. Use on every shoot.

This camera is perfect. Like it is truly my dream camera when it comes to size and output. The compact design is a dream when it comes to flying the camera on a Gimbal. The footage you get from this camera is just flat out incredible. I shoot weddings for a living and doing that barely scratches the surface of what the camera can do. I look forward to sticking cinema lenses on it in the next few weeks and really unleashing what it is capable of.

This full-frame Cinema Camera is my go-to camera. It packs a lot in a small form factor and makes for a great b-roll. A must-buy for the traveling videographer.

Amazing camera despite its age! Was hesitant to purchase as I expected a new camera to release soon. I also own the A7IV. When comparing my experience with each camera the Sony FX3 seems to spark more inspiration to film something and the video quality is fantastic!
