This is my go to lens for everything photography. If you are on the fence about getting this lens, I would say go for it, you will definitely be happy, I know I am.

Range is very useful, bokeh is good for f4 and tracking is quick & accurate. I picked mine up on sale and it was a great value at the sale price.

Best value for the money

F4 with these new Sony sensors is plenty. I plan on using this lens to have almost every focal length covered at F4 with just three lenses. 16-35, 24-105 and then 100-300. Perfect set for anyone but a pro.

Could have sprung for one of the more expensive lenses in this focal range but find that this is perfect for my needs. Carried it on my a7riii for 5 hours with no fatigue. I do a lot of run n gun shooting and this lens is versatile for just that. Super sharp and fast focusing. It is a little on the heavy side though but not too bad.

As sharp as I expect a zoom lens to be and the f4 aperture is great, especially on a mirrorless camera. Great do everything/walk around lens for an A series mirrorless camera. I use it on an A73.
