I love this lens. A bit heavy but it’s really a good travel lens. The picture colors are crisps. Hope it will give me a good result for my travel photography.

This is hands down the best everyday shooting lens out there for any A7. Don't waste your money on a regular G lens, go straight to a GM lens for full frame photography (not all G lenses are full frame). They are all pretty expensive, just save and buy this. It is well worth the money. I am shooting this on a 7rII and it takes superb pictures in all different kinds of lighting. If you are a novice like me, you will need to really dig in and learn your camera to unleash what this lens is capable of. Learn how to shoot Manual. It takes patience, but once you get decently good at adjusting the f stop, shutter speed and white balance on the fly, you are on your way. I downloaded the Sony app onto my iPhone and it has a trigger for shooting long exposures with this lens using a tripod. AMAZING pics. I delved into shooting astrophotography and this lens is a workhorse!!!!

I have been using my Sony A7II since it was launched with the Zeiss 16-35 and the Zeiss 55 MM FE lenses. After reading all the reviews, as well has having several landscape photo sessions where I required more reach and more convenience, i traded both in for the 24-70 GM Lens. Other than a bit heavy, the sharpness, color rendition and versatility met my expectations.

This lens is the best in its class. I use this lens on my Sony A7iii and I get the sharpest and fastest focus of all my lenses. While the lens is bigger than all my others it delivers quality the others cant. I would highly recommend this as a event lens.

This is a lens everyone should have in their bag. It’s great for everyday use and a variety of different shots.

This lens has great build quality. I've been shooting pro Nikon for years and am looking to lighten my load so I chose Sony mirrorless system. So far I have been very happy with the quality of the lens and the images. It is very sharp and quick focus. Excited to purchase more lenses in the future!

Top of the line, works very well, fast, smooth, elegant and of course low light performance is awesome. Love the bokeh.. One big problem with the lent, I like it so much that I'm not using my previous Lents.. Next the 85mm

This is the G of all G Masters! Versatility at its finest! It has little bit more weight than the new Gmaster2 but is still G baby!

Like you would expect from Sony their 24-70 f2.8 G Master lens boasts a solid feeling build paired with incredible sharpness worth its price point. Though more expensive than its canon or Nikon counterparts it's well worth it considering the array of Sony bodies available to couple it with.

This lens is build solid. Quite heavy also. A good choice lens if I just want to grab one lens to shoot with. A good walking around lens and probably the most recommended lens for wedding photographers, that would be the 24-70 mm focal length lens. Only downside is the price but you get what you pay for.

Great lens just rather have the GM I for what I do which is videography but never the less great amazing lens for photography

Have a high-resolution Sony camera? Need superior optics for your photography? Do you want nice photographic rendering for your pictures without harsh contrast or soft corners? This is a professional lens and it does its job. There aren't any concessions that you'll find with 3rd party lenses such as firmware, focusing or build issues. Sure, this is a premium lens at a premium price that some people can't afford or justify. Considering it's a telephoto/zoom lens, it's performance justifies the cost - it's a convenient alternative to working with a handful of prime lenses. Color accuracy, sharpness, ability to resolve a 61 megapixel sensor, quick focusing - there are no pitfalls with this lens. The devil is in the details, and the details make this lens great.

I would say I got what I paid for when it comes to the quality feel of this lens. The only reason I gave this lens 4 stars is because it is pretty heavy. I even used it on an a6400, I do understand this is because of the great quality glass used inside, which is completely understandable but I'm sure we'll get there one day! ;) Besides that I love the fact that I can take this for a quick shoot and get all sorts of angles if im on a time crunch.

Good multipurpose lens for real estate, landscape or portrait photography. Produces sharp and good quality photos. First couple times using this lens, focus setting was a little hard to nail. Face detection on my Sony A7iii wasn't too accurate and lens was focused on a different area than what was selected. Other than that and the weight of the lens, no other issues.

This lense is everything it's cracked up to be and more! I don't think I'll ever want another 24-70 after trying this one. It has very clear detailed images and the button on the side is a nice touch. I'll probably get more G master lenses since this one was worth the extra money.
