    The only downside with these g master lenses is the price but honestly you get what you pay for. If you have the money and interest, this takes your interest in photography to the next level. Great lens

    You do get what you pay for. It is a bit heavy so tripod use is best; however I hand hold it often. Works very well on my Sony a6000 crop frame sensor.

    This lense is expensive but within the fist couple of photos I could that its a game changer. Definatly well worth the price and the extra weight.

    Fantastically sharp and high performance lens with outstanding build quality, but that's expected from gmaster. I'm not a pro, but I like the overall reach and speed of these lens, very good for sport, wild life and people photos for me, I also using it a lot for landscape and cityscape photos to isolate some specific elements of the city or nature (one building, or tree in the part, etc.). Of course you are paying a lot, but you are getting high performance lens which will be with you for a long time.

    Like another reviewer, I also own this lens and the Sony 24-70 GM. I would concur with them that this lens is a lot sharper than the 24-70 GM. I tend to shoot longer distances, so I find myself using this lens more than the 24-70 GM. I used this lens to take photos at the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta and I was impressed how well the lens could zoom and focus. In addition, the photos were very sharp. I also like taking photos of the moon and the birds and this lens works well for both. I am very happy with this lens.

    This is one of the best lens you could get for your E-mount Sony camera. The bokeh effect at F2.8 is just out of this world. I can see a distinct difference with photos taken using this lens and my other lenses that I have. It's a pricey purchase but the difference in picture quality will soon make you realize that this was a good investment. If you are into photography, then this is a great lens to have on your side. The autofocus does great even in low light.
