I bought this headset primarily because I did not want wires trailing everywhere. I got that with this headset, plus excellent sound quality. The virtual surround sound is great, especially when playing stealth games like Horizon Zero Dawn or Metal Gear Solid V. The headset is comfortable, even when worn for several hours, and the battery lasts through those longer gaming sessions. Another benefit is the fact that this headset works perfectly with my PC, so when playing PC games I can enjoy the same excellent sound. N.B. As someone who does not use voice chat at all, I cannot vouch for the quality of the microphone either in terms of quality or its pick up range. Some reviews I have read said the microphone it is not very good, but that is not something that enters into my consideration personally.

I love this headset because they have great sound and are pretty comfortable. They were pretty reasonably priced. Also love being able to play at night without waking the family.

Bought these for my husband since he plays COD. He loves them and can hear every step in the game. Can adjust the volume depending on what game he is playing. Great battery life as well.

Great headset, not the loudest but sound very clear 7.1 sound does work very well. Comfortable ear cups. Just the headset doesn't fold. but I knew they buying into it.

I've been reviewing and comparing for couple of months now, Steelseries headsets came close but couldn't match the sound quality, wireless option, price and most importantly, comfort.

These are great, completely wireless and have decent battery life. When playing shooter games you can hear everything now in surround sound, hard to play without them.

These headsets are nice, good quality, great sound and good comfort and price is good, I recommend this headset

I got these to enhance my gaming experience during the Quarantine. I’m really happy with these days , battery life lasts a long time and the different sound features really elevate your gaming experience to the next level. Definitely recommend these headphones because theirs no need for wired headphones anymore. All wired headphones break or stop working in a short amount of time. Won’t have to worry about that anymore with wireless Headphones! Must get this if you play video games often.

I just upgraded my old headset to this and it's beyond amazing. The sound is fantastic, it's very comfortable and it holds good on being charged for a while. No complaints.

Good headphones that sound great and did not realize what I was missing..... On sale the value is good but full price I would have to compare more. The fit is OK as I wear glasses and prolonged wear, an hour, and it starts irritate my ear area. Combination of glasses and ear cup not being a little larger to really fit comfortably over the ear seems to be the issue. Good battery life and great surround sound. Has mic monitoring and a volume control to mix chat vs game sounds.

Before these I had the Pulse Elite headsets. Love them but they broke after a year and a half. The martial was rather cheap. These look and feel more sturdy. It doesn’t put pressure on my head like the Pulse Elites. The sound is crisp and clean. On Days Gone I can hear the frog in the title screen. I love everything about these headsets. But one thing. You can only use two EQ settings and one can’t be changed which really sucks. With the Pulse you had up to 5. But other then that I highly recommend the Sony Gold Headset.

Got these on sale, needed a second set for the PS4 in our guest room. They fit nice, sound great, and best of all no wires!

Glad I purchased these. Of course PlayStation 4 requires you to use one of their wireless headset to play audio wirelessly through the PS4. I was reluctant to purchase yet ANOTHER set of headphones but these are really great. Sound is great and are super comfortable. Only small small complaint is the functionality of some of the buttons on the headset can be confusing to get used to. Other than that highly recommend.

the new gold headset is better than the previous design, which was prone to breaking where it would fold in, but its still cheaply made. They aren't made to last as the soft vinyl/leathery fabric starts to peel from the earcups and the screen mesh cover from inside the ear cup peels away. but it does have virtual 7.1 surround which i use for rainbow 6 siege to gain a small advantage over the enemy team. gets the job done for a casual gamer. but wont handle the heavy duty abuse of daily hardcore pro competitive gamer use.

I got these when my wife complained that sthe tv was too loud when I played games. The sad part was I had to keep the volume below 3. So I decided to order a headset to actually hear the music and sfx again. I only use it for the ps4. Sounds great. Wish it had more custom game volume mixes It can bother my ears during extended game sessions but overall very comfortable. Battery life could be a little better.

This is a great headset for audio! I bought this to use while playing my PS4 for audio use only (I am not a microphone user), and it works great! Again, I cannot say how good the microphone is, but, if you are like me and want a headset to use to be able to hear your game and music clearly, then this is for you! A good value, comfortable, and wonderful surround sound quality. A must for the PS4 gamer!
