Headset is amazing, easy set up out the box, great 7.1 virtual surround sound. Also. this one is an complete revamp of the original gold headset. This one is more comfortable. Nicer ear pads, and the headphone band has this leather like material covering it up. Plug and play and go!

My 12yo has worn out a couple pairs of these. That is why I buy the extended coverage. I can go to any location and within minutes he's back to playing games or talking to friends. The sound is very good and comfortable too. We've bought there pairs and I'm sure they'll be another for a gamer in the family.

So far, this is a decent upgrade from the previous version. It's definitely lighter, less bulky and doesn't hug my ears as much as the previous version. I just like how it feels! I'm satisfied so far... I just hope they hold up better and doesn't break at the same point.

Bought these so that I could play my PS4 without disturbing my better half. They connected easily and the sound is pretty good. I love that they are wireless. If there is one thing I would take a point off for it would be that after a while they start to hurt my ears. This may not be the same for you because I have big ears. Haha

I never had an issue with Sony, the sound effects are always clear, not to much base but just enough, it’s comfortable at its best if you play for a long time, I really wish the control for the volume would be on the opposite side of the headset but still so far the best I’ve had so far!

The headphones are wonderful. They are extremely comfortable for longer wear, and the sound quality is fantastic. I use them for online gaming, and they are a dream. My only disappointment was that they are not Bluetooth enabled, so I can’t use them with my phone on flights - or any other time.

Easy set up and works great with my PS4. I would like it if the headphones worked wireless with my phone so that I could pause my game and answer the phone without taking off the headphones. Great audio, very comfortable, fits comfortable for long gaming sessions.

I bought these because my friend keept recommending me to buy them. I finally gave in one day and its a great purchase. The sound quality is a massive upgrade from my other headphones. They sould great and have a great battery life.

This headset is comfortable to wear for hours on end AND if you happen to have a much larger than usual sized head, these are perfect due to the amount of sliding sizes and it’s a flexible headset so you don’t feel like you are wearing a straight jacket on your head.

The headset itself is very sleek and simple to use, just plug the USB adapter into the PS4 port and turn it on and you're go pretty much. The sound isn't insane or anything crazy but for a 100$ headset I wouldn't be expecting it anyways. It's comfy, its simple, and all the buttons you need are right on the ear cups. My only complaints are I wish the volume could be turned up just a tad higher, the built in mic could be just a little better, and that the charging cable that comes with it is ridiculously short, which if you're going to lay it on top of your PS4 while it charges it's fine, but if not, it'll be a problem. Don't expect to wear it while it charges. Other than that, for a 100$ headset, you can't really go wrong if you aren't looking to spend a ton.

Purchased these for my brother as a gift to use with his PS4. Unfortunately, the sound quality and the materials used were not very impressive. He was using a cheap $25 Sades headset from Amazon and ended up preferring those. These were on sale so we thought we would give them a try. Ended up returning them and getting a wireless headset from Amazon. The brand was "Mpow Air" and has been a much better experience over the Sony Gold ones (more comfortable, better sound quality, and a bit more affordable too). Would recommend looking into those. Overall, I could see how these could work fairly well for some. However, I would recommend looking for something a bit better.

All inconveniences the old golds had are rectified. Comfort fit, lightweight and longer wireless battery life. Only 99.99 plus 14bufks for the 2yrs replacement plan that I highly recommend. Great buy quality and price

This headset beats its predecessor by far! Sound is improved. Doesn’t feel as flimsy and cheap with folding up. Last headset was falling apart and breaking just after a few months. This one has not yet.

Very immersive sound. You can hear alot more compared to traditional earphones. Highly recommended. Lightweight that doesn't clamp down on your head therefore allowing you to enjoy using them for extended periods of time.

I like them. Kind of sucks that I can hear all my back ground noise still. The turtle beach 300 have way better noise canceling but the turtle beach also have a cord and the mic generally breaks after 6 months of use. Other down side to these is these battery life isnt that great I have to charge every other day at playing 3 or 4 hours a day. It does have chat volume and game volume buttons which I do like. The microphone has a button to turn off and on. I like that there isn't any wire. Very convenient for me to do other things while waiting for the game to start. The range on the headset when you walk away from the ps4 isn't very far at all. It starts going in and out at 10ft away. If they could put the turtle beach 300 and these combined it would be perfect.

These feel kind of cheap but I’ve had mine for almost a year and they’re still working great. The sound is good the charge holds just long enough for my longest of long play sessions. Overall I’m pretty happy with them.

It tied many headsets before settling on one and while I did not like the old ps golds Sony did these right I love these they’re light don’t hurt my ears wearing glasses the loud the simple straight to the point I’d give these an 8.5 out of 10.

This is a great improvement over the last model with the hinges. Removing that feature made these much more durable. The sound is great and its very comfortable while wearing for long periods of time

I've had this item in my eyes for a while and it is everything I was waiting for. Ears and head feels nice an comfortable. Love the adjust-ability to head sizes. Love the sound quality and and background muting. Highly recommend!!
