This is a great improvement over the last model with the hinges. Removing that feature made these much more durable. The sound is great and its very comfortable while wearing for long periods of time

No Bluetooth! You have to connect them to a Playstation, Xbox, Computer with a usb connector. They do come with a headphone jack so you can connect them to other headphone ports. They sound great and feel great but no Bluetooth

I think this was a great purchase for my first set of headphones. They are very comfortable. It took some adjusting to get use to where the buttons are located. Highly recommend for an affordable option that still works great.

These are an excellent set of cans for the ps4. I had a much less expensive set that actually worked pretty well but I wanted something that would work well with the psvr. Good purchase (especially with the price-match that I received).

For years I have been looking for a completely wireless (no wire running to controller) headset with no silly base to plug into. I get that the sound quality isn't going to be as great as some of the other sets that have these components (and cost more), but I'm ok with that. So after much looking, the Gold headset from Sony seemed to make the most sense since it checked both boxes off and made by the company that makes the PS4. Set up is super simple. Just plug in the USB dongle, turn it on, and you are all set. No batteries needed (though it does need to be plugged in to charge). The sound is great. Some say its a little "artificial" but I like it. I mean, I'm playing a Spiderman video game, I don't expect realism nor want it. Best part is that Best Buy pricematched another competitor's price.

I have 700 series Turtle Beach and Platinum Sony headsets and this Gold headset seems to be superior to them both in comfort and quality. Definitely awesome for a reasonable price.

The sound is crisp and clear. Great battery life also. Super happy with my purchase. Would definitely recommend these to someone looking for a good headset for gaming.

I got an openbox which saved me money, but it’s a good headset if not necessarily trying to spend $200 on a pro headset. The quality is good and its wireless, yet you could use the wire if preferred.

I game everyday and I am loving this headset . Some people say problems with connection but I’ve had not one issue . Best headset I’ve had so far and I’ve had many . 5 stars I highly recommend

This is the second pair of the Sony’s Gold Wireless Stereo Headsetthat I have used for my PS4. I purchased a pair of turtle beaches in between and was extremely disappointed. The quality of sound seemed better on the Sony’s. I highly recommend this set for someone who plays games that are sensitive to the sounds within the game, and for someone who is using game chats. The controls are very straight forward and pretty helpful when wanting to adjust to the needs of the moment. If your friends voice isn’t as loud you can balance it more for the game chat and vise versa. I’d say the only downside is the battery life isn’t quite what I’d like for it to be. I am constantly having to charge it or play just a few feet from my PS4. Overall extremely happy with this product

I had the previous version and decided to try the Turtle Beach 700’s. Didn’t like them at all went back to this headset and love them. Really comfortable and have great sound.

I was going to buy the platinum ones but I didn’t wanna pay the extra $60 so I chose the gold and I am not sorry I did these are great from the comfort to the mic and the sound is spot on.

The best sound ever and super confortable while using, if you are a gamer looking for good sound I will strongly recommend use this headphones the best I ever try. High quality

Not having to use a headset with a wire is amazing and totally worth it! The performance and overall build quality is good, it does it’s job and not too expensive for what you’re getting. Overall very satisified.

This new model headset is a great sounding improvement over the previous Gold Edition. They are not as bulky, fit easier, and have a better sound. Well worth the upgrade if you are looking to replace an older set.

After doing some research on gaming headphones and coming up with my own sound~price=value equation these were the best value for what you receive. My only complaint is that they aren’t Bluetooth so that I could use them wirelessly with my phone are they really are some of the clearest sounding headphones I’ve ever used. They rock on my ps4 pro and my computer wirelessly and my Xbox 1x hooked to the controller with a 3.5 male to male wire. I’d definitely recommend to purchase to anyone looking to experience virtual 7.1 for under $100. These things have ultra clear voice on the receiving end, my gaming buddies can even hear when my wife is in the kitchen filling her cup with ice on the other side of the house!

Great headset, not the loudest but sound very clear 7.1 sound does work very well. Comfortable ear cups. Just the headset doesn't fold. but I knew they buying into it.

Bought these for my husband since he plays COD. He loves them and can hear every step in the game. Can adjust the volume depending on what game he is playing. Great battery life as well.

I've use these every day and they stay consistent with an 8-10 hour use. Sound amazing and I would by it again 100% Sony makes only the best stuff.
