I am very happy I bought this camera. It is very easy to use and takes great photos.

I am impressed with how much better the picture looks on a TV/computer as well as how much better it picks up sounds. The faces are not blurred out on stage in the spot lights. The only issue I have found that Best Buy did not talk to me about is the necessity to use Blu-Ray for playback on DVD. So, while I'm extremely happy with the quality of my video, I'm still researching my best option for playback.

This camcorder takes very good pictures, good zoom capabilities and light. The problem is this, the videos recorded are not in the standard format. The video files when downloaded won't play with VLC, Windows Media player or any of the other player that I have. I am having trouble finding a player to play the recorded video files.

I have had this model for a while now and it is very user friendly. The picture is crystal clear. I use this for sporting events and love the high speed sport option. I use it on a tripod for stability and clarity while filming. This camera has met or exceeded all of my expectations.

Performance is super even at Max stat 4k recoding. Auto focus and anti shake work nearly like magic. Manual focus is needed sometimes for professional clarity when the rangefinder or face detection can't get a lock but even that is pretty easy. Extended use makes it warm up here in Phoenix but normal environments would not get that probably. My only gripe is that it's difficult to use left handed. I can shoot broadcast quality footage and it's future proof with the 4k.

I shot some test footage with the new SONY AX33. No processing, hand-held, right out of the box. In short; I am absolutely stunned by the quality and performance of this camera! I have been using SONY cameras since BETACAM (BVW 1a/3A) I have purchased HI8, DVCAM, Z100, EX1, FS100, CX550V, CX760V, and the AX1. (BTW: The AX1 is the WORST camera SONY has EVER made.) The AX33 ($) far outperforms the AX1 ($) in every way possible (I just did a side by side comparison...

Buy this for its BOSS stabilization. But the ax100 for 4k. This films 4k as well but the real value is the boss system

This has the best steady shot I've seen on a camcorder, but it has no remote control for play back is my only complaint.

The camera has good working night vision perfect for recording at night or in the dark.

This has been a great video camera for doing 4k YouTube videos. The 4k capabilities allow us to have full fidelity in all the moments we capture. The motion stabilization is great, allowing is to have smoother videos.

Camcorder has good zoom and great picture quality. A little pricey but otherwise a decent easy to use camcorder.

Me and my friends have decided to start making YouTube videos. We've been making videos for about 2 months now and I have fallen in love with this camera.

Even though it’s a fully capable hobby 4K camcorder, it has a lot of features that are counterproductive. Starting from the memory card hidden under the lid, to a weird location for the Mic input. Then you run into a non-turning screen... simply, too many things wrong.

Very impressed with easy learning curve. Quality of video and operation.
