Great camera for the purpose I purchase it for work for me.

This camera is amazing during the day time but in low light it's another story. Very noisy but the image stabilization is very good. I also bought the AX-33 and I think the AX-53 is better. I was shooting with a Canon 70D and I thought the image was about the same. The only reason I bought this camera was cause of the image stabilization and size. Walking with a Canon 70D is terrible but walking with a AX-53 is just beautiful. During the day.... like a reverse vampire for filming. If you are looking for an amazing camera just safe up and get the AX-100. It's a bit bigger but it's awesome.

Really easy to use. Absolutely love the fact that you can install an app on your phone or tablet and control your camera while filming. Great features!

Bought this because it works with my Sony 4K TV. Could not be happier. The clarity's great. Best picture of any video I have ever used. Very easy to use.

I had this camera previously but after GEEK SQUAD I had to decide on staying or moving along as anything in life sometimes you have to let go lol the team at TOWSON BEST BUY was awesome so I moved up to the AX 53 this AX33 was light fast and reliable after 2.5 years only had to buy new batteries I also like the USB in the strap feature so try it at demo shelf first you will not be disappointed also BEST BUY do price match go to website and get the list of vendors they match thanks guys and SONY

I'd say get this on sale like I did for under $500 and it’s a great 4k video camera. Indoors I'd say average to above. It still has a small sensor and can't compete to the larger sensors but then you’re not comparing it fairly. I had a Panasonic HDC-SDT750 to compare it to. I loved the Panasonic but to many drops killed it. This Sony came on sale open box and I don’t miss the Panasonic at all. I like the sony much better. I hear the nwer Sony 55 is similar but would look for this at a huge discount.

SONY has an amazing 4K video camera that is affordable and compliments the SONY 4K TV to deliver unbelievable pictures. You will not be disappointed.

Bought this camera to record my newborn in 4k and the quality of 4k indoors is not that great. But recording 4k outdoors was amazing! The quality was superb and it did not disappoint.

So far we love our new Sony 4K video camera. It is easy to use. The battery charges quickly and is lasting well. I do wish it had a better, easier to use view-finder. I don't like leaving the lighted viewing screen open at performances (in the dark)

We used this to video our wedding and reception, we passed it around to guests it was easy to use and the picture was great

I haven't used my new camcorder much but playing around with it, it seems great. I love that it also takes still photos. Love that the lens cap opens automatically when you open the screen. Automatically turns on when the side screen is opened.

The quality of this camera is amazing. So clear and the battery lasts so long. The voice also sounds very clear.

This is an awesome 4K video camera! It is packed with features in a pretty small package. The 4K video looks incredible.

Great quality for the price. Easy to use. Due to the weight, my arms get tired after using more than a few minutes.

I’m a pastor at a small church, and I’m using this camera to do live streaming. I would’ve given this camera five stars except that it’s streaming capability is limited to Ustream, which requires a subscription. I also purchased a video mixer, but I can’t figure out how to get a clean feed (without all of the icons and symbols) straight to the mixer. If that could be fixed, it would be a definite 5 stars. The camcorder is built tough and has a great crisp image. I’m very happy with the quality

This is an easy camera to operate. The quality of the pictures are far clearer than you would get with a smart phone.

I bought this camcorder after viewing other ones and chose it because it could record in 4k. It has a great battery life. I'm still learning all the features and how to set them up. One thing I had a problem with was the zoom button is a bit too close to the one that takes a picture, so you might take a picture when you just wanted to zoom. But it's a learning experience and you get used to it. I also bought the Sony camera case for it and found that the camcorder will only fit into it sideways, so the handle on it is on top. But that does make it easier to pull it out quickly.

This camera has help me capture family gatherings and my son's sporting event. Great picture and quality and easy to navigat.

This is a really great 4k video camera for a reasonable price. The audio isn't great though and there is a new version coming out.
