Excellent quality for the price! Extremely sharp picture and very nice features! Just remember to take it off demo mode before you used it. I forgot to do that initially.

What this camcorder does really well is seamless transferring of files. Whether that be to the PC, or to the phone via wireless transfer, I have yet to hit a snag. With my Note 10+, it can be hit or miss. That's the first point I wanted to put out there. Now, some details. Does the stabilization work as good as having a standalone gimbal? No, but it's pretty darn close! And, unlike most gimbals, there is no syncing. It's just turn on and go. That is a major bonus for on-the-go shooting. I did run with and jump around with it, and as I said, pretty darn good. Enough where someone would assume you were using a gimbal. Of course, the higher the resolution/frame, the lesser the stabilization, but I didn't notice any "swaying" until I had the zoom all the zoomed. Still great. The zoom is really good. Very little degradation of image quality. The images/videos are bright and vibrant. And the "on-the-fly"m scene adaptation has been spot on in adapting to my scenarios. Another great feature is the dual recording. While recording in full 4k, you can simultaneously record an mp4 version for easier transfer. Relating to my first point, I was able to sync my phone to the camera, and transfer a movie fairly quickly if I needed a quick post. What I have yet to figure out is how to change the resolution of the mp4. It records at 720p, which is fine for say, Instagram, but it'd be nice to have it in 1080p for a quick Youtube post. As of writing this review, I have yet to find it. There are software counterparts that are recommended for Android(required) and PC. There are not tedious, but I'm always wary of reliance on additional software.But the ease of connectivity(transfer, remote control, etc.) do warrant the installation. The battery has been giving me about 2 1/2 hours of continual usage, which is on par to what they advertised. Charging to full takes a few hours, which is a bit of a disappointment. I'd hope to have at least a nice chuck within an hour. Especially since extra batteries are so costly. Another point that has been mentioned continually with this camera is it doesn't have a night node. It does have a low light scene setting, but not as good as a dedicated night mode. In my tests at night, it still did fairly well considering, but I will have to invest in a panel LED light if I want to shoot more at dusk. Little bit of a bummer, but not a deal breaker. Audio exceeded my expectations with crisp dialogue and focused recording. In closing, this camera is reminding me why I still want a camera instead of just my cell. The capabilities and benefits far exceed the shortcomings. I'll be shooting much more often.

This camera was purchased to be used to broadcast our church services online. It works great with our iMac computer and provides great quality.

I like the quality of video from this camcorder. It has some very nice feaures, I just wish the video out cable was a full HDMI instead of a mini HDMI. Besides that it is a great camcorder.

We bought this camcorder because we have an older model of the Sony Handycam and wanted to upgrade. The price was expensive be we thought it would be worth it. The picture is super crisp and clear however, it has one flaw that we just couldn't live with. When you take video that has the color red in it the color showing up on screen and in the completed video is orangeish. We were so disappointed. The reds all take on a very orange cast. We had a floral bouquet that had purple, pink, orange, and red flowers in it. The purple, pink and orange are all true to color and vibrant but the red shows up orange. We tried different lighting situations but that didn't help. We ended up taking the AX423 back. The salesperson thought it may be defective. Well, they had camcameras on display so before purchasing another one we tried it in the store and it too was showing red as orange-toned. We ended up going with the Canon 80D DSLR instead which is a totally different type of camera.

Great camcorder for livestreaming! I use the clean HDMI output to go to an external streaming device. This one is better than the AX33. We use it in our church.

I love the ease of use & the highlight feature- makes a very professional video. The format is quick to upload & the ability to control the camera from my phone is Awesome.

The Sony Handicam is a great little camera. This one is to replace an older one that has been in constant use, in the classroom, for years. The newer technology is great.

If you are looking for a camera that has all the basics plus 4K look no further. If you are a pro with a huge budget this is not an option since there are better cameras out there.

Very compact and convenient. The high resolution videos and photos are amazing. The fact that the camera can be controlled remotely with a smart phone is a plus.

This is an amazing camera! We bought this camera to use for football games and it has done exactly as it’s suppose to. I’m amazed at how the film looks!!

I have used it a couple of times and so far so good. Not good in the dark. we were recording in the living room with little light and it was a dark picture.

I wasn’t crazy about this camera but it does the job if your’re looking for a cheaper option than the 100 and 700 have to offer.
