As someone who is starting out in video production, I can say that this is a good camera to start out with. Capable of recording videos and taking photos, the camera's high resolution picture and frame rate make it the ideal camera for anyone to use. It is also the cheapest one I could afford, so if anyone wants to test this camera out, I say go for it.

I purchased this for an aspiring cameraman. He expressed an interest in filming newscasts and documentaries so I purchased this camcorder to allow him to practice filming and see if he really likes it. He was very excited when he opened this Christmas day and is filming all the time now. We purchased a 128GB card, too, so he should be busy playing with this for awhile. The camcorder is easy to use and takes great videos and shots. It is also really small, making it very portable. Best of all, I received a bear hug for helping him to "follow his dream."

I am enjoying my new camcorder because of the simplicity of the operation but also the clarity of the images I have been recording. I am finding this camcorder to be easy to operate and the set up and usage instructions have ben easy to follow.

UPgraded to an HD camera when it was on sale for $125 over the holidays. Can't beat the quality for that price. Operation is easy and it was a big upgrade over my old Sony. Quality is noticeably better when recording on the high quality setting. Only drawback that I noticed is motion shots pixelate at times.

Excellent camera, easy to use, clear picture. We use this camera for video capture and streaming of our worship service. It has been reliable. I was pleased to get something at this price point. For our purposes, we do not use the audio from the camera (sounds isn't too great). However, the video quality is outstanding even from 45-50 feet back. We would buy this again, for sure!

My son and I went on a pig hunt and wanted to film it. This camcorder worked out well. It is simple to use and light weight. The zoom was awesome.

Good for quick videos and photos. I had to return this one because you cannot record while on AC power. If plugged in to AC you can only enter playback mode. Other than that it was a good camcorder and took good pictures. Easy to use and good price.
