Looking for a small video camera that works in low light and was easy to use and we found this little Sony that does it all and was reasonably priced. If you want better video than your phone takes but don't want to break the bank you should definitely look at this camera.

Bought this to replace my old Sony 8MM camera. Its a great Camera! Easy to use & produces quality video. I was very surprised at how great the still photos it takes actually are.... I thought it wouldn't be great for still photos but I was wrong. Very happy with all the still photos & videos I have taken so far!

The camera in question is lightweight and easily handled. The special effects are limited, but very useful. The instructions are clear and successful use of the camera can be learned quickly. Children as young as nine can operate this camera successfully. Good camera for the cost.

We got this as a video recorder for our newborn daughter and we just love it! It’s picture and recording quality is amazing! I love how clear our video is. Great image quality and impressive optical zoom. Build feels a little cheap, reducing stars. Viewscreen is a little washed out. For the money, however, it is an excellent camera that does exactly what I need it to do.

We’ve had this for some time and I’ve had opportunities to use it. It’s a good purchase for the price point. The image isn’t always real stable so it takes a steady hand or a tripod. The viewing screen is to small to get a good idea of what you’re shooting. It takes nice video but keep in mind it only shoots in 1080p. With the newer phones and their cameras that shoot in 4K or 8K, the days of camcorders like this may be numbered. We upgraded our phones not long after we purchased this camcorder. The phones do a much better job. The only advantage this camcorder has is storage. video can easily be saved on the micro SD card and downloaded onto a computer, then transferred easily to a DVD if that’s what you want to do

small, easy to use, great picture; recommend to others

We haven't had a chance to use it a whole lot so far. My husband and I bought it to take with us on trips this summer to visit our families, but had to cancel our plans due to Covid-19 travel restrictions. We did take it hiking with us and shot some nice footage of Great Falls in VA, though. And some geese at a pond near our house. Nice picture quality and very easy to set up and use. Quite compact so it takes a bit of getting used to when using the buttons and steadying the camcorder. We bought a Sandisk Extreme 128GB Micro SDXC memory card to use with it. We decided to get the Extreme (gold colored) micro SDXC because it is a V30 and had the fastest video recording and playback speed. All in all a nice little compact camcorder. Nice picture quality and video playback. Definitely smaller and weighs a lot less than the camcorders my parents had when we were growing up in the 80's and 90's.

Simple easy camera for anyone to use. Good quality video. Great for recreational use!
