This camera takes great video and is very easy to use. Learning curve is very low so just about anyone can use it. Purchased to use for time studies. Only wish that it would hold the date, time and the timer on the screen during playback.

Easy operation with a little practice. Very good sound. I have used it to record live karaoke shows. I am very impressed with the audio and video quality. I wish it had a headphone jack. Great buy for about $200.

Great Handy-cam for a beginner, its a gift for my daughter and uses it for her school projects and she loves it. Size is a huge bonus- futsals in her hand and quality and ease of using it - simple and nice.

Ok so this is not 4K Nd far from the best value but for under two hundred dollars you can make it work well. I bought several items to improve the audio since you can’t hook a mic to it. You can hook it up to a 15ft micro usb to allow for tripod usage with out using the battery. When you buy this do yourself the favor and buy the Sony charger and extra battery also buy no greater than 64 gigs byte cars because anything bigger does not work. Again if you are recoding in HD beware 74gig card is the biggest l.

Solid camera, only downside is the memory card being a bit confusing. I also am not a total fan of there being no ‘on’ switch/button, just open the door and hope it doesn’t go to sleep in the meantime. This was a gift for a parent who is not super tech savvy and it fit the bill.

My wife and I purchased a camcorder very similar to this one. We decided to purchase this one for my daughter and son in law for a Christmas gift. This is going to be the perfect gift seeing as how we are having a little addition to our family! Great for catching those moments in time that are so special!

I needed this camera to video tape myself for student teaching. This camera worked perfectly, was easy to set up, and very easy to use. My video quality was great for this purpose and the audio was loud and clear.

Got this as a gift for my daughter. She wanted a lightweight camcorder for use in horse training, without the 'bells and whistles' of an action camcorder. Relatively inexpensive, and it does everything that she wants from it.

I use this camera for Investigative purposes and it provides great battery life and had video quality. The only problem I had was that the usb charging cord wears down quickly.

I was surprised at all the features of this camera based on it's price. The 60x zoom is no joke either. I can literally read licence plates from over a block away. The files it makes are really easy to upload to my YouTube page also.

It’s easy to use and battery life lasts a long time. This camcorder has captured so many beautiful memories. Love that we can connect it to our tv via hdmi and watch the videos on a bigger screen too.
