I purchased this camcorder to use for live streaming some indoor events. Setting it up was easy. The menu system is simple but effective for most scenarios. The small size makes it easy to have with you just about anywhere you go. The video quality is good as long as there is plenty of light. Best used outdoors or indoors with bright lighting. Once the light level drops to typical indoor lighting levels or lower, the image becomes quite grainy. It's ok for home movies and non-critical videos but it wasn't suitable for the quality level I was looking for so I returned it. The reason I say this camcorder is good for it's class is because any small camcorder will have the same problem with graininess indoors or in low light as this one. It's a limitation of the small sensor that all these small camcorders contain. But when there's enough light this one stands out as one of the best due to it's combination of small size, ease of use, and good video quality.

Love this camcorder. Small size so it is easy to handle and not heavy to carry around. Takes wonder and clear videos. Easy to share the videos with other. I bought this mainly for my son and daughter-in-law when they were expecting a baby. Cell phone videos are quite limited in my opinion. Not the case with this camcorder. Luckily for me there has been quite a bit of baby highlights captured for me to view. I also used this to interview both of my elderly parents. It wasn't so obtrusive as to make them nervous. I have some special memories now of my parent's to pass on to future generations. II would highly recommend this camcorder

This little camcorder is light weight, making it easier to carry around for recording events and snapping pics. Small enough to tuck into a purse or car console. Records crisp HD video and takes pics with instant on as soon as the view finder is opened, no power up needed. Battery holds a good charge. Magnification x60. Very pleased with it.

I used this for recording my son's football games. It's clear, the zoom is what I wanted for the closeup shots, is lightweight, and user friendly. Overall, a great camera.

Best camcorder I have used. Battery lasts for quite awhile. More importantly, the images are excellent. This camera is light and easy to handle. A great value.

I bought this camera to specifically use for our wedding and it turned out very well. The sound quality is good, visuals are great, and it's very handy in size. The memory cards make it easier to transfer files to the computer for permanent storage, which is better than the old fashioned tape needed to record stuff on. I am pleased with this handycam, if one is just looking for a decent priced camera for occasional use and recording, this one is it. You can even extend the viewing (via HDMI hookup) to your tv and never even have to take out the mem card if you're wanting to view it to a large audience. Great price, great product, and I am very pleased with it.

Good basic video camera. Great size, be easy to use, good zoom and clear HD picture, etc. Would recommend, especially for the price.

Quickly needed a little inexpensive video camera for my daughters wedding as our older door stop type camera died - after a quick tutorial from the Best Buy guy, we just bought and headed out the door - the camera seemed a little chincy and cheap as it is so light weight and really nothing to it but...it was all we had for the last minute. It was very easy to use and operate and move around with. The picture is very good and for the $$ has a nice zoom. I haven't tried to hook it up to the computer to burn a disc or the t.v. yet but I am sure it will be great!! Very pleased with this purchase!

I bought this cam to record all memories of my little baby girl. Very pleased. This cam is so lightweight and conforms just right in my small hands. the features are within fingers reach. the quality seems good so far. I haven't downloaded any vids to the computer yet so we shall see.

Great little camera at a reasonable price! I found it easy to use, but wish the buttons were not quite as small or had easier to read markings. Once I figured it out (yes, I did read the directions), I was able to record what I needed with ease. I highly recommend getting a second battery, as the first one stopped sooner than I expected. Overall, it’s a quality product and very compact to carry.

I love this camera. It’s a little pricey but I love the camcorder quality and it’s so fun to shoot random things on trips and nights out. The battery lasts forever too, I carry a spare but havent had to use it. The zoom is super good and gets good detail. I used it for a couple graduations and I was able to get a clear view of the person! Super fun and reliable.

Bought 3 of these for my Studio (Upclose Studio) ad they are very durable and the quality is great for such an inexpensive camera. Did have a slight issue with the HDMI not being clean out on 1, but somehow it worked out and is working now. Otherwise, worth the buy. Easy to use and set up. The menu isn't as easy to use as the Panasonic ecosystem, but still intuitive enough and the simple controls get the job done. The Autofocus is pretty quick and it does operate will in low light. Itwill not compete with the higher end FDR series, but at 1/4 the price, can't go wrong

was looking for a very small camera that was light weight and easy to use so I can take on my vacation to Disney word later in the summer sony has come up with a winner with this camera very quality picture and sound

I was looking for a camera that would be easy to use and record quality (not professional) video's that could easily be imported to dropbox for educational purposes. This camera fits the bill. I was especially impressed with the shots I could get in low lighting. It is lightweight (almost too light and too much of a plastic feel for my personal taste) and relatively compact. Bottom line, I could find a comparable camera from other brands but they were at least $50-$100 more.

I bought this for my daughter and her husband. They love how easy it is to use and that they can take stills along with the videos. It's a great size and very lightweight. A very good camcorder.without the high price tag.

I purchased this camera to video my son’s soccer games. It’s easy to use and lightweight. Picture is great. Great for beginners. Battery lasts about 2 hours.

So far I like that it's compact and lightweight, so light it may feet like a toy. However this does what it's suppose to do for me: take videos and also still pictures. I like that it has a micro disc and that is easy to use even my 10yr old niece figured it out. . The review screen a little small and a bit cumbersome to try and review your shots. I haven't used all features yet bit so far it does the job. The quality of videos decent but not professional & audio is okay. If you want a basic start up camera, this is good deal ($129.99 Black friday).

Purchased this camera to take to Disney World with the kids. The quality is good for basic video functions. Its basic and easy to use, all at an affordable price. Battery last a long time too. Perfect to throw in the backpack and take on family trips.

Not groundbreaking or anything in technology. Doesn’t even have a touch screen. But it weighs hardly anything and is easy to use. Battery keeps a pretty long charge. My wife can put it away in her purse easily. In a time where most people record everything with their cellphones it may seem archaic. But my wife likes the simplicity of popping the screen out on side and pressing play and recording on the go. No opening apps or searching through photos and videos for what you recorded. It’s exactly what she wanted for a gift “simple device that does what it’s suppose to well”
