Did a lot of research to find a cheaper option to film my children’s multiple sports. This camera has worked extremely well to capture basketball, soccer and cross-country events in HD. I upload to iMac (iMovie), edit what I need to and then upload to Youtube. Ive had zero issues and have filmed over 25 events so far. Zoom capabilty is invredible.

Extremely easy to use. Great quality high res videos and this camera is super light weight. I wasnt impressed with the photo quality, but then I realized it was set on the lowest setting, so now they are amazing. Love the ability to shoot photos while recording video.

I wanted an inexpensive flash camcorder for kid events, beach, etc. so far so good after one month. Easy to use, super light and clear recordings. Have not recorded a play or choir concert yet so not sure about sound quality. Very satisfied at this price point.

Purchased this for a wedding gift, but used it to record the ceremony for the happy couple. Picture was crisp, and image was steady, even when removed from the tripod and manually panned over the guests. Controls are easy to understand and operate. Unit is light enough for prolonged handling. All in all, a good vacation camera that won't break the bank.

Handy actually defines this product. If you are going somewhere where your phone is awkward then this is handy and easy to run. You can store the photos on card memory so you can keep going and replacing the memory cards. It is actually very useful for someone who wants video. It is very light weight and travels easily in a purse, and the photo quality is all Sony, top of the line.

Used this on a trip in all light and weather conditions. It performed very well and the plus is it's size and weight. Perfect for carrying in a small tote bag or purse etc. Picture and sound quality were very good, almost as good as our larger more expensive Sony camcorder. I consider this perfect for traveling . Has nice feature of being able to take still pictures in between videos without having to change settings or messing up your video

I have had this camcorder for about a month now. I only used it for the video. I thought my videos were of good quality. Sometimes it took the camera a short time (a few extra seconds) to focus. But this didn't happen every time. That would be my only complaint. But once the camera found the focus, it took great videos! I know some people talked about the quality of the video. But this is not a 4k camcorder and you didn't pay 4k money. I really liked how lightweight the camcorder was and the size. The optical zoom worked great! And it easily fit in my camera bag along with my other camera equipment! I would recommend this product!

Amazing little camera for the memories. It’s easy to use battery life is amazing. Audio and zoom are great. I’m so happy with it.

We bought this camera to record a graduation ceremony, it has an amazingly clear zoom, is easy to use and above all has a great battery life!!!

I tend to use Sony camcorders. This is the best one yet. It's small, super light, good battery length, well placed buttons, nice features...etc. If I had any complaints it would be that I wish it had nighttime features. We have lots of creatures around here and I can't capture them on cam with this because of that reason.

I was fortunate to buy one of the first Sony HD cams about I guess 10 years ago. Paid a fortune. Anyway, this newer model light in weight, easy to pick up and record and really easy to transfer to a Mac or PC. Video Quality is excellent. For the price and technology it’s the best. Why buy a 4K cam unless you only have 4K TVs and everyone you send it does too.

I was looking for a bargain and got a deal... just wanted to record my kids games for playback. Well, I got HD, easy to use, light weight & simple to connect to my tv for playback... priceless!

Much better than expected! I would highly recommend this video camera to anyone. Its very light weight. Very user friendly. Very clear video and great sound. Easy to view on you TV and computer. Small and compat makes it very easy to put in a purse or large coat pocket.

Video quality looks really good when connecting directly from Camera to my Samsung LED TV. Not sure why when I use a microSD card reader and connect through USB to the same TV, picture quality is noticeably worse. Really easy to use this camera, very light and compact.

I was apprehensive about buying such a small camera for my needs. There is an amazing amount of technology packed in here. The picture is clear, the zoom is incredible, and the sound is of great quality. We use it for recording stage performances by various family members and have not been disappointed. Easy to record and easy to transfer to the desktop for making DVDs.
