Nice little camera. Videos are clear and quality is good enough for the price of the camera. My only concern is the plastic body and durability, and the limitation of only 32 GB sd card.

This video camera was very basic and simple to use. Average person could take it out of the box & begin enjoying it. Only complaint was the box did not indicate type of memory card. I needed to exchange the SD card with the correct MicroSD card.

Replaced my older, heavier Sony camcorder with this camera and it's much more compact and does more than it's predecessor. No regrets!

This is a great camera for people who want to start using cameras. It's got great focus and zoom capabilities. You just need multiple SD cards when you are recording for a long time.

Bought this to record my son's first birthday and it worked great. Used it to record a basketball and picture quality was great

We use this camera for filming our kids’ sporting events. Quality is great.

Still getting used to the video camera. The one feature that I do like is that you don't have to flip a switch to go from video to pictures, you just press a button. Haven't figured out how to view videos yet.

Bought this camera to take videos of family at Disneyland. Ease of use was excellent did not have to worry about any difficulty for others to use either. Had great time and enjoyed family without worrying about having to use a difficult camera.

This little camcorder was a replacement from a Nikon digital camera and from what my daughter use it for, it's 5 times better. Also we were able to capture her graduation ceremony with it and I must say it has great video quality! We're satisfied.....

This was actually a gift for my son and his wife. He opened the box right away and started using it immediately. He seemed very happy and comfortable using it but so far,so good.

I use it to film my sons soccer games and they look great. The battery last long enough for the game, but i have to make sure to charge it for the next one.

This is used for at least one hour of recording time and i can say the battery does last without having to be plugged in. you will however need to buy a camera stand if needed since it doesn't fit most. However, good value buy

Needed a basic camcorder to record in HD. Performs very well. Easy to use. Each format uploads easily with supplied USB cord. This is the second camcorder of this model I have owned. Other broke due to a fall while attached to a tripod.

Very nice camera. Easy to use. Not the best camera quality but that’s expected with a camera of this price range. It’s a 1080p camera.

I purchased this camera for my daughters 8th birthday. I was a little worried it would be too advanced for her. But it turned out perfect and she loves it!

The Sony - Handycam CX405 Flash Memory Camcorder is sleek, lightweight and offers a variety of filming options and capabilities. Do yourself a favor and purchase a memory card to increase the amount of filming capacity.

Got this to record my sons sporting events. Needed something with a good optical zoom and at 30x this works. Can easily make it all the way across a youth soccer field. Picture quality appears to be good also when played back in 65” hdtv. While this is just an entry level camcorder it serves the purpose. I would have gotten something better by Sony but there just isn’t a lot out there right now between this and the $1k cameras that don’t offer the same zoom capabilities.

I would had given this camera a 5. However, it has no remote control capability. I need it to do SELF videos to put online. However, the zoom is spectacular in fact I want to give it a 4.5 but don't know how .
