It was time for me to update. This camera takes really nice video. Extremely light weight. I like using flash memory. Taking video while looking at the LCD takes some getting used to for me. I am old school and would have liked a view finder to look through. I'm sure it will get better with time. Taking video in bright sun can be a challenge when objects reflect off the LCD. It makes it hard to see what you are trying to video sometimes. All in all though, I give it a thumbs up.

I was looking for a small and affordable camcorder to get my vlog "King and muva's world" started . I researched camcorders and found that this one would be perfect to start ! I am loving how compact it is, easy to use and the quality of videos is awesome ! Thank you Best Buy !

This HD camera offers great options and performance for the price point. It has some advanced features that are normally found on higher end cameras. It is small, compact and easy to operate. Video quality is clean and clean.

Camera is light weight and easy to use. Good quality pictures. Only draw back is I wished the battery would last longer. My older camera battery would last for a full day of volleyball taping where as with this one I had to switch halfway through the day other than that great camera

Easy to use. Lightweight. Good for the price. Need to get a good (use for action) SD card to be able to record. Able to play quality (not choppy) recordings through a connection to your tv.

Was able to get this on sale and it's a good Sony camcorder for the price. It's very light weight but still very sturdy. I've only used it a few times but it's very easy to use and the battery life seems to be pretty good on it.

This camera was purchased for my 9 year old who is into video/photography. This camera was perfect because of its weight and size. The camera has great quality and the fact that it takes a memory card gives you more space. This camera was a great buy.

Great price point. This video camera is easy to use, very light weight to carry. Can take a snapshot while taking a video. Smooth zooming takes practice, but true of all video cameras. Highly recommend.

I am surprised at how good this camera is. I was just looking for something simple & inexpensive to do a regular insurance video inventory of my business locations. This is pretty much perfect. The auto focus & exposure are exceptional for what is sold as an entry level camera. I am more than pleased. It does everything I need, and much more. I consider this Handycam a true bargain. I love it!

Live this little camera. Bought it to record deer for my baby bruce to watch, and to record my hunts. I accidentally got to close to it with my crossbow and hit it with the limb. It blew into a zillion pieces, but I put it back together and found a used replacement record button to replace the only part that was beyond repair. Much to my surprise everything on the camera still works. It sure took a beating that day! Does good videos,but not so great for low light situations.

This camera sets up very fast. The battery was charges so out of the box it was ready to go. It is light and easy to program. Playback is crystal clear like HD, great purchase

This camcorder is light, compact and takes excellent, sharp videos. The supplied manual leaves a lot of needed info out, requiring considerable trial and error. The price and quality of videos makes it worthwhile

We researched video cameras for our daughter and son-in-law to find a good one where they could post films of their son and new baby due at the end of May. They seemed very pleased with the gift and used it right away for our Grandson's 3rd birthday party. They liked the ease with which it worked and quality of pictures. I haven't heard much more about using it lately, but am sure they will be taking pictures of the "Big Brother" welcoming his "baby sister". I also like the ease of purchasing the camera. I checked at our local Best Buy store & they didn't have one in stock. I checked on line as to what store had it immediate purchase. I called that store and they took my information, item #, etc and contacted me when it was ready for pick-up .I asked for an additional memory card and case for camera and they had all 3 items at the pick-up desk ready for me and my name on each item.

Picture and sound are very good, it's crazy lightweight and is SUPER easy to use. My only complaint is the battery life seemed shorter than it should be. Still, did what I needed it to do. Be aware you need a MICRO sd card

This camera replaced a JVC one that we had that wore out. I am impressed with the quality of the footage from this camera and its ease of use is its best feature. The zoom is fantastic.
