The camera works great, video is awesome, and still pics look good.

I bought this camcorder as an open box price after asking lots of questions in store and reading online review. I took the chance and bought and loved it everything came with it that was suppose to. But when we got it we couldn't figure it out so we took it in store and they helped us learn how to us it and made it very simple . I'm glad we bought this :)

"HD" can be misleading at times and that definitely applies to this unit. When I went in, I was sold on the "HD 1080p" feature and how clear the picture was on the LCD screen. Bought a high data rate transfer micro SD card and started shooting video on a vacation. Not sure was the battery life is but I took a lot of video on "highest quality" for about 2.5hrs give or take and was at 50% charge. This model also has claims to capture 5.1 sound which attempts to capture sound from multiple points/angles. Again, replaying the videos on the camcorder LCD screen looked really good. So going home, I removed the memcard from the camcorder and into my laptop. Used media player to watch the video and the quality was poor and sound was ok. I removed the card and installed onto my PC viewing on a 4K QLED monitor and still... looked grainy and poor color, tried another media player, same issues. The videos were shot indoor and outdoor, different times of the day, different lighting, and both close and far away. It's not what I expected from Sony, not what I expected for $500+ dollars, and definitely not what I expected being a camcorder as my cellphone took better video (quality). I'd say steer clear of this model as I wanted my memories captured in the best quality possible without breaking my bank. I'm hoping there are other options.

Pretty good as long as it is plugged in for long, 30 min or more continuous filming. Not so great if not plugged in, regardless if charged full on battery. Great pictures and quality!

Sony Handycam CX675 32GB its really great, loved it

Walked in needing new camera. Looked at different models. Spent a little more on this camera...and glad I did (got it on sale too). Lots of features, easy user interface, superb quality. Only used a couple of times but lots of use this weekend. I am def happy I bought this camera versus one with more basic features. Buy it!
