Testing it out, the night quality, with the light attachment, was not what I expected. Grainy pictures and video. I returned the item. Wasn’t worth the trouble.

Posted .Hello BearBoy80, sorry to hear that the CX675 did not meet your expectations. Small sensors are more prompt to noise in low light scenes, if this model did not meet your standard, look for a model with a larger sensor or a way to add more light to the scene.

Posted .Hi Randy, thanks for letting us know about your concern. The sound of zoom operation, lens focusing, cooling fan or buttons being pressed on the camera may sometimes be recorded when shooting movies in certain situations. These mechanical sounds are more easily heard when recording movies in a very quiet environment. In most shooting situations it is difficult to hear these operational sounds. To help prevent unwanted sound during recording, avoid fast panning or tilting and try holding the camera as steady as possible. Adjusting the zoom settings of your camera and slowing the zoom speed can also help reduce the sound of the zoom operation. If a zooming lever is available, do not flick the lever quickly but put your finger lightly on the lever instead to zoom. We appreciate your time sharing this feedback. Dave

For beginner it is OK

I bought it as open box for $350 and it's still overpriced. It's junk, poor quality even in normal light with lots of noise. I have other Sonys years old that blow this one away. Someone was sleeping at Sony when they designed this. Almost returned it, but decided to use it in situations where if it is lost, I won't mourn.

I was recording from second base and home plate. When zooming in the picture quality looked degraded. And the stability was also lacking. This camera might be good for close up recording at a bday dinner but nothing more.
